Cardinal Point is ideally situated within view of the Rockfish Gap, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Skyline Drive in Nelson County, Virginia. We take great pride in creating high quality, delicious, and food-friendly wines. But we take the most pleasure in creating wines that showcase our specific terroir, our winemaker's unique creativity, and put a smile on our customer's faces.

While in the Afton area, we stopped at Cardinal Point. Very nice location, entertainment, and wines. What a deal! We did a tasting and the white blends were good. Staff was knowledgeable and we had a great visit. Purchased a Cab Franc/Viognier blend. Hopefully a...More

This was our first stop on a wine tour, and did not disappoint! The hardest thing was selecting only one bottle to purchase!

Fun, intimate setting. Good wine and knowledgeable staff. It’s on a beautiful landscape with plenty of photo opps.

We stopped in for wine tasting. It is small and quaint, not fancy at all. But the wines are great. We did not eat, but we did buy some bottles of wine. Very friendly staff that explains every wine you are tasting

Stopped at Cardinal as the last of a few wineries from the weekend. We were a bit disappointed. Though the live band was fun, seating wasn't ample. The wines were not a favorite amongst the crowd of ladies I was with. Lastly, the tasting room...More

We've been here a few times and the wine never disappoints. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This was our first visit when they had live music on the deck- and it was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon!

If you are looking for a venue with wonderful views this is not the place. They have good wines with knowledgeable employees this is for you. Even if you only have a short time it is worth it to stop.

The wines here are decent, but your tasting will come at a cost. The service is awful. Slow and inconsiderate. The staff is more concerned about talking to each other and cleaning up for closing instead of attending to customers. Will not return.
