Great wine

The staff and wine were amazing. Sat outdoors and enjoyed the mountains and our wine. Had a great time. Hope when we are back in the area we can go back. So much fun!!!

We come here every few months due to the wonderful staff and delicious wine. I have bought several bottles (and even a case) because I feel their wine is delicious and covers a variety of palates (dry, fruit forward, semi-sweet, etc). I personally love their table white, viognier, and the trio. The tasting room is precious and their outdoor patio... More

We work in the wine industry, and on the weekends when we're not pouring wine, we like to check out other wineries to see what's out there. Flying Fox was recommended by friends, so we stopped. We'd never had their wines before, since they only do one wine festival a year, and they don't distribute their wines at all. We... More

Small tasting room with eager and pleasant staff. The wine is good, albeit not my taste. I bought the Viognier and red table wine. Wonderful little stop on a beautiful country road. I will be sure to return.

My husband and I discovered the Flying Fox while staying at LeBleu Bed & Breakfast in Nelson County, VA. I was very, very impressed with their wine-tasting offerings and the vintage wines they stock. It's a really fun place to buy a great bottle of wine.

Really friendly and knowledgeable servers pouring the wine. Wines were average for the area. Nothing bad in the bunch but nothing special as well.

My husband and I sought this winery out to get away from the weekend crowds (and bridal parties) that tend to flock to the bigger, more commercial wineries. This winery had several wines we enjoyed and would recommend it to small groups

Flying fox was definitely a nice little stop on our tour. Our wine tasting host was very sweet and chatted with us, which always makes the whole experience much nicer. Loved their reds, but nothing out of the ordinary on their whites. This place is a bit smaller, so we didn't linger, but tasting included Flying Fox glasses - something... More

Nice little winery, with some pretty good wines. People were friendly, and gave us a good tip on where to go for lunch. It's a small cozy place, with a good selection and decent prices.

Quaint winery right off 151 in Nelson county with a small and cozy tasting room. The wines are great and the service top notch. I stop here often when in the area. I much prefer here to some of the big box wineries in the area.
