I went here and the Vermont cheese was so good and I got garlic and herb cheese and it was delicious. It is in a beautiful town and is in the beautiful green mountains. If you love cheese and your in vermont you have to visit The Cheese House!!!

Every time we visit Vermont, we have to stop at the Vermont cheese house. No trip is complete without a few bags of Vermont cheese curds or the sampler pack of Vermont cheeses and cheddar straws. But there is more to this cherished stop than the food and gifts. The owners are some of the warmest people I've met in... More

From maple syrup to fudge to Vermont's best local beers, ciders and wines this shop has it all. ANd they have lots of great cheese. From in-house brands to cheese from small, local farms the selection here is excellent. A great place to grab supplies for a fabulous picnic.

I've been visiting the cheese house since it was a little round building painted like a round of Swiss cheese. If you're looking for a selection of wine, cheese, or a few other related products you can easily find them here. However, as years go on prices of souvenirs go up and selection goes down.

A great place to pick up gift items for foodies . . . we made a bee-line for the cheese area of this shop. They have so many items to choose from - it was fun deciding on which cheese to try (decided on VT medium cheddar w/ sage). Not only are many varieties of VT artisan cheese available (incl... More

We stopped here while touring the area. It is a small shop that has a bit of everything, including of course some great cheese choices. Small items, gifts, clothing, and so on. Of special note, the sales woman at the store was very nice. True Vermont hospitality. If you are driving by, or in the area, stop by !!!

My husband and I stopped at the Vermont Cheese House on our way home from visiting Hildene and Manchester, Vermont. We were welcomed, informed, and given great service. We bought several pieces of cheese and a few pounds of fudge. We were informed about the types of cheeses available. An ice pack was made available (for a small fee) for... More
