Great little mountain, our kids loved it. Really good value to grab a ski guide for the first afternoon to show you some sneaky trails off the big traverse. Kids ski school also really good value. On mountain food was awesome. We skied through the gate into the back bowls of Snowbird a couple times, just $20,highly recommend skiing there... More

Just returned from celebrating my nephew's wedding. What a wonderful experience. Accommodations: fabulous. The first picture is the view from our room. How can you top that? It was Clean. Quiet. Lots of hot water. Fireplace with wood. Wedding Venue: beautiful. The scenery, the food, the staff were all gracious. It was amazing. Sunday brunch would be hard to beat... More

We hiked Cecret Lake and the Albion base over the last few days. It is amazing! The wildflowers are beautiful. Would highly recommend the hikes to anyone wanting to see Utah at its best. We also saw lots of wildlife including deer and moose.

Loved the varied terrain, but unfortunately not all of it was open. One absolute gem of a powder day (at least 12 inches over night, probably closer to 20) and meant the slopes weren't destroyed after 2 or 3 runs as there were no snowboarders. Just felt so much safer especially with the kids. Also on the right hand side,... More

Alta has it all. Challenging slopes, breathtaking scenery, fast lifts and experiences skiers on the trails. For the newer skiers, like myself, there is plenty of Intermediate runs that will keep you busy. I do not do moguls and very few black diamonds, but I can easily ski all day without getting bored of my options. At lunchtime, there are... More

This is a resort for the ages! If you are lucky enough to hit it on a powder day, you will never want to ski anywhere else! Light, fluffy, deep and strong! Ski the whole mt. Use Collins lift and then move up the hill to the other lifts from there!

I've been wanting to ski Alta since I started skiing 20 years ago. It's reputation for deep snow and big terrain was what attracted me. Upon arrive, we were herded into a parking lot where everyone was suiting up to hit the hill. In the background, Avalanche bombs causes concussions off the windows of our rental car. With adrenaline pumping... More
