Came here for Halloween weekend and it was very fun. The music was hot and the drinks were good. It was packed but I didn't feel like I was suffocated. I like the concept of a container bar built out of shipping containers.

Went on a Thursday, dance floor was in full swing! Lots of room to hang out and the bar itself is a big container so it’s pretty cool.

Great use of old ship yard containers in a super trendy area of Austin. Great live music and specialty drinks. Dogs are welcome here too I loved the note at the bar to be kind to the bees I didn’t see any but good for...More

Really cool design. The Saturday we were there had a really good DJ playing tracks from 90's to today. Was an easy going crowd and easy to order at the bar. Pretty cool.

This is a unique drinking hole built entirely of shipping containers. Bartenders are friendly and skilled, and the cocktail menu is awesome. Misting fans keep the patio cool even on a hot summer evening.

We made a lot of stops to hear live music and the best was by far at the Container Bar. Worth a stop!!

Its a cool bar built out of containers with live music playing...but outside of that, its a bar. Its mostly outdoors, so a rainy night will not be fun. The staff were very cool/friendly and had great recommendations.

The concept is a must see, it is a bar made of big containers. However there are plenty of other amazing bars on this street that are way less crowded. I only saw one bar here and it was very hard to get a drink....More

When we visited it was around 7pm-ish. There was not a cover, but, also, the band had not started playing yet. It may depend on the time you go and if there is a band playing.
