About
Mt. Playmore is the LARGEST children's indoor fun center in Austin TX. Featuring a truly "Texas Sized" indoor play structure measuring 120 ft X 60 ft and nearly 20 ft tall, kids won't ever want to leave! A large arcade area, kiddie rides, toddler area and kitchen serving scratch made food round out the fun.

This single dad with a six-year-old daughter met up with single mom of a six-year-old boy and just let the kids have the best afternoon ever. It was crowded with birthday parties and lots of commotion but the kids love the playscape and activities and the snack bar serves reasonably good fare & the atmosphere is relaxing for adults & minimal supervision is required. Meanwhile the teenagers who staff Mt. Playmore are wonderful, which brings me to why I'm writing a review: I lost my card with money on it -- $32.50 to be exact -- and the kids were able to efficiently decommission the old car & issue me a replacement card in just a couple of minutes flat. I want to give a shout out of thnaks to Cruz, Phaezon (sorry if I'm butchering the spelling of your name, sir) and Isabel. The kids never get tired of this wonderful spot. Five Stars & counting!

We have come here twice and love it. There is the huge playscape, which is shaped like a rectangle and parents sit inside. The arcade has tons of games, and on most you earn tickets to use for prizes.
The restaurant has great food. They have pizza, burgers, ice cream, and much more.
This is a great place to take your kids on a rainy day or any day!

What a great place to go and relax while my kids ran out and played out their energy.

First when you check in your children and you are stamped to ensure you leave with the correct kiddos.

Second there were comfy chairs and free WiFi for me to enjoy (others napped) while my 8 and 10 year old played.

Third, there is a young kids area of respectable size where many parents with little kids were having fun.

Fourth, lots of cool options in the arcade with two options for credits. Unlimited play for either one or two hours , or pay for playing. The first option had a set ticket amount while the second you earn tickets based upon performance in the arcade.

Finally, a kids soda from the fountain is only $1 and change. All you want refills. We also had Icees. There are other food options but we had already launched prior to arriving.

I see this as a great place when families with kids 12 and under come to town when outdoor conditions are not ideal! I look forward to visiting again!

I had the worst experience ever at this location, and I will be posting this review on every single website and social media spot that I can. Today my daughter turns 1 year old. We've been to this location on various occasions and I have seen people with parties out in the open area many times. We wanted to bring my daughter, her sister and brother, and the adults of our family to cut her cake here and let the kids play for a bit.

My mom arrived first and was told that we could not bring the cake, so she called me to see what I wanted to do. After going round and round, she was told by a staff member that they would allow it this time. Because of this, we proceeded to come to this location instead of just staying home. We enter with my daughter's cake in hand. We pay and sit at a table. Mind you, we are seen by multiple staff members including Chris, the manager, who checked us out. After about 15 minutes, he comes stomping to our table and very rudely tells us that we cannot cut the cake here and that we MUST remove the cake immediately.

I thought my mother spoke to him, so I told him that he approved the cake here. He stormed over to my mother and started raising his voice, not allowing her to speak, telling her that HE never said that and that HE was not going to allow it.

I proceeded to tell him to watch his tone and advised him the I myself am the General Manager of a restaurant and work in the service industry. He said he didn't care who I was and that rules were rules.

AWESOME! Clap for yourself, Chris!

You just pissed a mother tf off! We did NOT cut the cake, and had no intention of cutting the cake after we were told not to, but there was no way I was going to put a cake I spent money on in the car with 95 degree weather! And for some reason we still had multiple staff members attempt to tell us we could not have the cake in here and that we had to leave.

I told every single individual that we are abiding by their rules, and that cake would not be removed from the box BUT in return they would NOT ruin my daughter's first birthday. It says no outside food or drink on the building outside, BUT if you pay $200 you can bring a cake from the outside. 👍

We paid money to be at the establishment, we purchased food and drinks, so I'm sorry but you can kiss my a*#%^ , I’m not letting my daughter’s cake melt in the heat.

Needless to say, I will NEVER come back to this location. I promise that every single person I encounter will hear about this incident, and more specifically how Chris FAILED at customer service.

I almost NEVER write reviews, so for me to sit in their establishment while presently still being here to write this should mean something.

Employee sold us a "great deal" but forgot to mention some important details. Make sure you read the fine print on their game cards. Otherwise an ok experience. We will be wiser if we go back. Disappointed children this trip for sure.

Took 2 granddaughters there and they enjoyed. Not too much for the littlest one. The older one enjoyed but left our pockets empty of more than we would have liked. At their ages, 3 and 9, they prefer Chuck-E-Cheese.

Took my son who is 8 and my 1 year old daughter and they both loved it. My daughter stayed in the little kid area mostly for toddlers and small children. And my son played in the bigger kids area and loved it. Then let them play games in arcade and ride kiddie rides. There is also alot of comfortable seating for parents!

Went here while visiting Austin when the weather outside was too cold to go to the zoo. We were here with a 2 year old and a 5 year old. They had a blast. They have a HUGE structure that they can climb and run around in and that kept them busy for a very long time. They also have a full arcade which you can buy game cards for. $20 on a card went a very long way and we were able to play all the games and even win a couple of prizes. They also have a little area where tiny tots can play without older kids. Also, there is an area where there are little rides that our granddaughter's really enjoyed. You can use the game card for those rides too. They have a very large area to sit and eat, and we saw a lot of people eating pizzas, but we did not eat there. It seems there were a few birthday parties there too, and it would be a great place to have one for children old enough to run around by themselves to play. It was a fun time for all. If we were ever in Austin again we would definitely visit.

Whenever my husband and I have the rare opportunity to be home together with our daughter (4) this is often where we end up. The price is great and we have a blast getting into the climbing structure with her. Games are average price and the food is your typical nothing to write home about, and slightly over priced. Staff is average, but the place is always clean.

This is a great energy burn, huge indoor playscape. Parents can relax on a couch or comfy chair within the 360 view of the kids playing and free wi-fi. I also had fun climbing and playing with my girls, so it's definitely big enough for parents to enjoy with their kids. There is a medium sized arcade, though most games were geared toward older kids. Additionally, there is a toddler-only area separate from the bigger playscape. The snack bar had a pretty good food selection, though the prices were higher as expected at this kind of place. We only had ice cream, so I can't speak to the quality of food. An additional bonus, the admission cost is a day pass, so kids can play, leave, and return later in the day. My kids want to make a return trip to Austin just to go back!
