Steer clear of rather tacky 6th Street and instead head a short walk away to Rainey Street. This tree lined street is host to more than a dozen bars and restaurants, many located in converted older homes. Bangers is a ton of fun and has...More

So enjoyed Rainey Street, highly recommended. We visited on a Wednesday and a Saturday evening so saw 2 sides to it. The Wednesday was chilled with lots of solo singers and small groups up and down the street performing to appreciative crowds at each of...More

Great new spot with new bars and tons of food trucks. We went during the day around 4 and couldn’t find a parking spot. We ended up leaving, probably a Uber drop off but can get too busy. Packed at 3pm during the week!

If you want to see entitled Millennial's and pretentious servers in their natural habitat then this is the place for you. If you want to see freaks geeks and real people then sixth street is where you should go.

So many cool places to eat, drink, listen to live music on Rainey Street. ATM's abound. Indoor and outdoor venues and even a fine collection of local food trucks. Parking is limited and expensive. Take an Uber.

My Couch Surfing host from France, Maxime invited me here for a French Speaking “Meet Up” and it was great! The outdoor places, live music and so many options between restaurants and food trucks! We were meeting the group for crepes made by this man...More

This is a fun street with lots of restaurants and bars with live music. Unfortunately for the under 21 crowd much of this is not accessible. Parking is tough so you may want to Uber or scooter. There is a open food truck garden and...More

Rainey Street is an abbreviated 6th Street Experience. There are some fun cafes, pubs and retardants here. Especially enjoyed Bangers. Incredible selection of draft beers and wonderful sausage dishes. Be prepared to walk and try out a number of venues on your first visit. I...More
