Richard is very knowledgeable of the Austin music scene and history, and shared it during an easy-going and enjoyable hour walk around downtown. It’s well worth the time and cost

Strolled around downtown Austin, learning about the history of music and seeing where it all started! Our guide was friendly and informative. He provided other interesting historical tips about downtown and helped us find some live music spots to go to.
Guide was lovely and was a muso so had a deep knowledge of the history! Nice breadth of buildings and history of the city!

Learn about the "Live Music Capital's" long history of talented musicians and at the same time see the city from a local's point of view
Austin is the place to be for funk and fun. People are great and services are awesome. Would definitely travel back there again and again.
Richard is an outstanding tour guide. He had interesting and informative anecdotes and background stories for the many locations we visited. The tour time of 2 1/2 hours went by very quickly. Bottom line: any music lover should take this tour!
