Really great insights into Austin's music scene both now and in the past. Our musician guide (Richard) was relaxed, friendly, and easy-going. Loved that he brought along a copy of the Chronicle to help us find some great options for shows to see.

Review of: 1 Hour Downtown Walking Music Tour
Richard is very knowledgeable of the Austin music scene and history, and shared it during an easy-going and enjoyable hour walk around downtown. It’s well worth the time and cost

Strolled around downtown Austin, learning about the history of music and seeing where it all started! Our guide was friendly and informative. He provided other interesting historical tips about downtown and helped us find some live music spots to go to.

He covered music in Austin from the 50's to the 80's and brought along a copy of The Austin Chronicle which covers the music beat, to share. The walk covered just a few blocks of the city which was quiet for a Sunday morning except for a few college kids still drunk and loud.…
