Really solid music played in a uniquely long room. Ideal place to go if you want to sit up front and really watch the musicians do their magic. Also great room if you sit further back and what to catch up with friends over drinks. The room is have the talent.

Cool inexpensive jazz club serving high priced drinks in the thimble sized vessels. Worth a visit. Stop in after COTA.

When a below ground level jazz bar calls to you, you go down the stairs. Thats the rule. I found a lucky empty seat at the bar and ordered a gritty dirty martini to match my first impression; both made me smile. You'll find a wide breadth of attire here from worn jeans to sequin and silk and it all makes sense surrounded by the jazz. Everyone is welcome everyone fits. I don't need to say this to real music lovers but don't come for things like service or culinary gimmicks because an honest venue like this will deliver musicians that will shine as its priority.

The band had some sound/mix issues that didn't resolve as the night went on. I wonder if they tried to compensate by just being loud?
