Our family of 4 enjoyed the Austin in a Nutshell tour. If you are touring the city for the first time, I recommend doing this tour on day 1 so that you can get a good overview of the entire city. The tour was interesting, fun and informative. The pace is good with lots of breaks so all levels can participate. If you are active, want to learn about the city and have some fun, this tour is for you.

I rented an E bike for two of us and we rode around town lake. The bike was awesome! Devon, was equally awesome, as he fit us for the right size bike and made sure the seat was in the right position. This bike shop is in a perfect location where you can hop on the bike path at town lake. The battery was freshly charged and when we got back from our ride was still at 75%. I love that this bike shop allows you to rent the entire day and are open until dark, 8:00 PM. There is no other place I would rather rent a bike than this place. It’s time to go back for a 3rd time and have some fun along the trail network! Happy Trails!

I signed up my son & I to take the Austin in a Nutshell Tour. Thankfully, Devin (sp?) recommended that it may be too much for us and instead suggested to rent bikes to take our time around the area. I appreciated his candor and offer to credit/exchange tour for rental.

I hired a bike for 7 days during SXSW, 2 punctures were fixed on site with incredible speed and good nature. The bike was great, customer service impeccable. Highly recommended will 100% be in touch next time, thank you.......

Mike did a great job sharing his knowledge of Austin and it was obvious he enjoys living here and promoting his city. Tour included a stop at a fun coffee shop. He had lots of recommendations and kept us comfortable and safe on our e-bikes. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Michael gave us a great tour of the city. He knows his stuff- and kept up a nice pac too. The bikes were nice- E bikes allow for different levels of ability. We stopped at many notable spots along the way, including Jo’s coffee, yum!

These guys are cycling enthusiasts supporting their community and tourists with quality rentals at reasonable prices.
I rented a road bike for 2 days using their online tool. When I arrived at the appointed time, the bike was ready for me and the folks in the store made sure I had everything i needed for a few days of decent riding.
The bike had an issue when I got it home but the issue might have been my pedals that they installed at my request. They swapped out the bike with no questions asked and I went for several rides on a great bike.
Return was easy, they did a cursory check of the equipment and I was on my way.
Austin is a great place to ride and Barton Springs supplies a great product.

We rented bikes and kid trailers and did our own tour. Was easy to reserve, was in and out quickly and the staff was super friendly! I am not comfortable riding in the road and have not used a trailer before, luckily once you cross the street and walk down the block you are right in Zilker and ready to bike around the lake with no traffic. Perfect location! Highly recommend.

We visited Austin for a Girl’s Trip and our saavy friend found Barton Springs Bike Rental and Tours. She booked 8 of us for a private e-bike tour with Toby. It was our lucky day! From the moment we walked into the shop, we were greeted and treated professionally and with kindness. Care was taken to fit each of us with helmets and bikes and to thoroughly explain how the bikes work. Our tour was carefully planned through amazing paths around the city, stopping to get more information about many important landmarks. Toby is knowledgeable and passionate about Austin. He was very attentive throughout the tour and stopped for great photo opportunities. This is a must-do! Best way to see Austin. Thank you, Toby!!!

Had the absolute best time on this tour! We had a really quick trip to Austin and this trip showed us all the best things - south congress, zilker park, the bar bridge, lady bird, the Capital, plus a bunch of mural walls! Michael was a great guide who knew his stuff! This was the best way to see Austin!

I'll be in Austin around the end of Feb. Rather than fly with my bike, I'd like to rent a nice hard tail (I'm 6') for the month of March. Availability & cost? Thanks.

They seemed to have a large variety of bikes and longer rentals but we rented a couple of basic rides for the day. Talk with Cody or Gabriel there; they're real helpful.
