Me and my wife was staying at the Faimont not far from Esther's Follies and was tired of 6th street. Went to the club and had so much fun. They treat you so nice and make you feel comfortable. The show was so funny and...More
A must see if you’re in Austin. Easy to book and reasonably priced. The show was very funny. Magic is a little corny but the magician is very funny. Enjoyed the interaction with the people walking on 6th street.
We have been to Esther Follies 3 times, but this time the humor didn't impress. Let me say in the past they always talk political jokes and some are funny, but this show seem to be humor focused on Politics and God. I really didn't...More
This is the 5th time we have attended. The show skits are changed up to keep up with current events. The writers have their work cut out for them with the new political fodder that is made available weekly, if not daily, these days. This...More
Absolutely one.the funniest shows I've seen in a long time! All the skits were excellent and very current
Highly recommend. A must see. Very affordable pricing. A small theater so all.the seats were good. Super talented actors! Loved Loved Loved!!

We've been to Second City, improv shows in...More

The shows on a weekend are the same. However, the script is modified every week to cover different current events. Where I see the most consistency is with the magic act. But, these are always good and always enjoyed. There are always a few tried-and-true skits. We always look forward to the Texas redistricting skit by former Texas Governor Rick Perry. I have been to the shows over five times, and no two shows are the same. Further, I've never been disappointed that any two shows are almost the same.
It was largely a liberal crowd and liberal-oriented humor, but far less biting than a lot of what you might see on late-night television. If you ever find this sort of humor funny I expect you will enjoy the show.
