The gardens were very beautiful! We really enjoyed walking through the garden and taking pictures. Parking was very tight and hard to find when we drove through. The price for us to get in was about $4 per person and was cash only.

Beautiful Gardens for browsing for choosing plants for your own garden. Can be extremely hot to visit during the afternoons in May. Take plenty of drinking water and wear good walking shoes, as the paths can be uneven at times. Plenty of shade provided by...More

I went here for a festival and it was so beautiful, the flowers were so magical and the weather was perfect lots of vendors and lots of activities to do and see in the park itself.

Huge garden area with plenty to see. Great for pictures, I saw a lot of prom pics taking place there while walking around. I will definitely be back again.

This is an absolutely beautiful garden, with paths, ponds, waterfalls, and greenery of many kinds. Small enough for a short visit.

Great garden to visit in town. Much bigger than I expected. Could use some more flowers to help really make it a botanical. I've been 3 times so far and is quite open so you aren't crawling over other people to enjoy a nice day...More

The Austin botanical garden is something of a shadow of what it once was - and certainly what it could be, if our city fathers and mothers were more concerned about their community than staying in office to waste taxpayer dollars. Nothing has been pruned...More

Entry to the botanical gardens is from the very busy Barton Springs Road, and there is only a right turn onto the road when exiting. There is a nominal entry fee per person. The gardens are relatively small, but there are a number of areas...More

I wish there were but at this time there is no cafe or restaurant. There are many restaurants down the street toward Lamar Boulevard.
