My family of 5 went to the iFly location in Austin, Texas. The staff was very friendly, and they even let us take in our little dog (we were traveling to Austin for a quick visit). Dusty was our instructor and was very cheerful and did a great job of "positioning" us within the flight tube, as it was our... More

we went a couple of times there for a birthday party. the kids were about age 9 at that time. they seemed a little overwhelmed by the wind tunnel. for children the wind seems a bit on the strong side and is somewhat intimidating for them. the power of the tunnel seemed like it was going to bend them in... You just gotta try this once. It does a great job of recreating the skydiving experience without all the danger and fear...lol. The staff does a great job of showing you the ropes, and they even step in and put on a pretty impressive show!

Very professionally run with friendly staff. No it is not cheap, but hey it is fun and I bet their electricity bill is high!!! Pay attention to the video beforehand to understand the best flying position to make the most of your time unaided. Go, go, go.

I surprised one of my friends with an "adventure" this past weekend. I have been real skydiving before, but not indoor. You check in at a computer kiosk & speak with someone behind the counter where they try to sell you photos & other stuff (photo package well worth it). Then you go upstairs where you meet your instructor (Daniel... More

If you're going to spend this kind of money on an activity, I would suggest doing something that doesn't require so much skill to enjoy. To stay afloat on your own is a lot more challenging than it looks. This is like any other sport that requires extensive motor muscle training (like skiing, golf, etc). With that said, I thought... Very helpful staff and great that the entire family could do it ! They even had little suit and helmet for the 5 yr old and she did great. Would recommend again. Pricing is high but the experience is unique so only other option is to jump out of a plane and not up for that with kiddos :)

I bought this for my wife for an anniversary gift. She loves heights and had a very good time. It is a little expensive but it is something she wanted to do. After her visit, they had a deal with 4 flights for 66 bucks so we took that one also, she is looking forward to going again.

A friend and I did this for the first time. We both had a fantastic time. The instructors were fun, friendly, and very good at teaching you to "fly" on your own.
