We are in Austin for a girl’s trip and booked this tour as a way to see more of the city and, of course, eat more of the food. What a great decision! We had such as awesome time. Saw way more than we would have ever seen if on our own. The food was incredible and chosen for us based on our taste. Incredible. Our guides, Gene and Donnalou were so helpful. Donnalou helped organize cupcakes for the birthdays were celebrating, which was great. Gene was the highlight with his easy going nature and cool information about the city. We loved having him there to help, inform and guide. He was so knowledgeable and our 4 hour trip turned into 5.5 because we didn’t want it to end and he was happy to oblige. Thank you, Gene, Donnalou and Rocket Electrics for an amazing evening!

Best activity in Austin for all ages, electric bikes are the most efficient way to cover substantial ground, see the real neighborhoods of Austin and get a feel for life there, with minimal work. Our tour guide Donna Lou was friendly, upbeat, a local, extremely knowledgeable in the history of Austin, neighborhoods, great food options (she always gave us options to pick from to customize our own tour), we made 3 stops and got to ride on the Lady Bird lake hike/bike trail on the river and enjoy sunset views and see all the happenings on the waterfront. We wanted to do a bike/BBQ/bar tour, 5 of us ranging in ages from 39-60 and we made 3 stops with a ton of food, you will be more than full and happy, and you get to work off your food through the 4-4.5 hour tour. There were two types of electric bikes a peddle assist and some with a throttle on the handle bar, both were easy to maneuver, easy uphills, and one of the best tours you will experience. Make sure you bring a hat!!!! Sunscreen is a must although our guide provided some, and possibly a rain jacket/poncho in case it rains. Donna made sure that we got to do and see what we wanted, she kneels backroads, stopped at appropriate places to give us some background on neighborhoods, museums, history on people important to Austin. We went to a Mexican place with killer avocado martinis, food to die for, then Coopers for BBQ, loved the sausage there, then road down Rainey street, then to Amy’s Ice cream, an Austin favorite. If there’s anything you do in Austin, make sure to call Rocket Electrics and sign up for one of their private tours! They are worth every penny, very easy to work with, customize, and work with you and the group! This is my second experience with them, my first was 4 years ago, and they are still the best thing to do in Austin!

This is a must do activity! My first experience on an electric bike was thoroughly enjoyable. It's a great way to see Austin amongst the locals, rather than a bus load of tourists. Our guide, Kristen, was incredible, as her love for her city and it's culture allowed us to see Austin through her eyes. We did the brunch tour and enjoyed local cuisine at its finest. I would recommend this activity with full confidence that it will be the favorite activity of any trip to Austin!

Wow! We just had an amazing time on our food and bike tour! What wonderful memories we have built! Our guide, Faith was so fun and knowledgeable about Austin and the restaurants! Even though we have lived in Austin for many years we learned new fun facts and found new restaurants! We would highly recommend this tour!!

I consider myself a "foodie" and a picky eater. A traveler and not a tourist. This food tour takes you off the beaten bike trail to some of Austin's best views and flavors.

After a quick demo and introduction, we were off. The trails were so much fun and the bike was a thrill to ride. The pace of the tour was perfect. I never felt rushed. My guide Louie asked everyone about their food preferences and did the ordering for us. I was worried that to please the most amount of people they would take us to very vanilla restaurants and order very common or bland food. This was not the case. Louie ordered a wide variety of food and flavors. If something was popular in our group he would order another round and ensured everyone had enough. Every tour is unique as they have a huge number of venues to choose from. Also the process for being put on the list of options is interesting. I think he said that 8 employees all have to agree and that you always have to leave thinking about what you want to order the next time they visit. We had everything from fancy seafood to spicy Thai.

The bars had hand crafted drinks and the syrups and mixes were also home made. Expect to pay an additional $15 per couple on drinks at each stop. They are worth it and you will want to try them.

You will never be able to hit up every food truck and restaurant in Austin. But after this your you will feel like you sampled a huge variety. The tour helped me get my bearings of the city and maximized my short time here. I highly recommend this tour. If you are like me and sometimes have a hard time choosing one thing to order then this tour is for you.

I want to present Rocket Electrics with a TripAdvisor 5 dot review and pin to display in their shop. TripAdvisor gives these limited pins to their most active members to recognize the best in the industry. Your guest service started before I even made a reservation, helping me plan my trip and finding dog-friendly activities. You gave me the confidence to ride a bike through the city and I even rented a bike the next day with my pets. You took great care to ensure everyone got the most out of the tour. Now I want to purchase an E-bike of my own!

Our group of 8 girls had the most amazing private bike tour with Rocket Electrics. Faith took us through the Austin back roads to find really cool local clubs and the Welcome to Austin mural. It was a blast and made our trip so much fun!

What a fun way to explore Austin! I had relatives here from Germany and they loved it! Kristen was so knowledgeable and the bike tour was terrific! We went on the foodie adventure tour and rode the trails around the lake and went downtown. Are at three great restaurants and just had an amazing time. Our tour guide Kristen is wonderful! Electric bikes are the way to go to get an up close taste of Austin. Highly recommend!

We love Rocket Electrics. Always a good time. We did a Foodie/Drink Tour around South 1st and South Congress. El Alma, Elizabeth Street then the Austin Motel for Drinks. The bikes are so fun and easy to ride and our tour guides rock!
