This place was good when it first opened but had gone down hill drastically. We came and did the Wizard room and they hadn't reset it fully so there were things that were already opened that shouldn't have been. Then on the 4th of July we scheduled their Tortuga room. When we showed up no one was in the building and there were 3 other groups of people also waiting. One of the groups left while we discussed what we were going to do since we had driven 45 minutes to get there. When we were about to drive away about 20 minutes after arriving, the guy showed up apologizing about a staffing issue. When we got inside he told us something was broken in the room we had reserved and that we weren't going to be able to use it. He offered a refund or to move it to a different date. When we asked for a free room for the inconvenience of driving so far when they should've informed us before coming, they said the most they'd do is give us 30% of the next room. This is the same discount they offer you every time you do a room with them. Also their air-conditioning isn't working and I was feeling a bit claustrophobic throughout our game. I'd suggest going to The Escape Game in Austin better. They have wonderful customer service and better rooms.

As a freshly opened store, we have faced some difficulties but we are working hard to improve and to make all guests satisfied.

Paniq room has horrible customer service. We just tried their newest escape room (Tortuga), and the final escape door opened prematurely before we solved all of the puzzles. We were told this happened before with another group, but for some reason they didn’t fix the problem. They also didn’t allow us to try the room again/finish finding the clues and complete the room properly even though the room was available for another 3 hours at least. We would’ve had to pay again to try the room again. I’m very disappointed in their response to their room malfunctioning. That wasn’t our fault.

We did the wizard trials. It’s our 15th escape room together and it was the worse one we’ve ever done. The puzzles had to be in an exact - EXACT location for it to work. Even to the point if you are half an inch off, it won’t work. Very frustrating because we had to spend a long time on each puzzle. The hints take a long time - several minutes after asking. We also tried novel escape and the escape game in Austin (we did 3 rooms) and had a lot of fun. Don’t waste your money or your frustration.

Pirates of Tortuga-The complexity was perfect...not to easy but definitely a mind bender.
Zack was enthusiastic and looked like he was having almost as much fun as we were.

Pleasant experience, and liked the interactive sound effects. We did the wizard trials and the pirate one with our 12-year-old and 10-year-old. I wouldn't say we are escape room experts but we have done a pretty good number of them across the US while we travel. They have a lot of neat interactions here that you don't see very often. They have definitely put a lot of time, thought, and money into these rooms it shows and has paid off.
