Custom tour Austin and Hill Country

Our group of 10 loved traveling in the new glass top vehicle for our private tour. Mary and Bree incorporated our interests into a 4 hour tour of city and Hill Country that was a great combination of riding, walking, eating and photos. Bree was so knowledgeable, accommodating, and fun. Loved hearing her stories! Red and White wine tasting was our final stop - perfect ending for our memorable tour!

Austin Hills+Stops tour

Did the ‘Austin + Hill Country Panoramic Tour with Stops’ tour with AO. Tour guide Jaye was excellent and the tour hit the perfect mix of time on the bus and opportunities to stop and see different things.

Like the mix of pre-recorded tour guide narration and live commentary from the tour guide. Allowed him to personalise the commentary and pick out things en-route that people on the tour were interested in.

Would definitely say the tour is worth the price for the comfort on the vehicle and more personalised experience compared to the busier open topped tour bus that people were being packed onto as we departed.

Last minute call

We were in Austin for the day and decided on a last minute tour. We had no problem getting tickets, our driver Ari was great. We drove by different points of interest and stopped at Lady Bird Lake. The van was clean, masks are required and temperature was taken prior to boarding.

Lesson needed in customer service and friendliness

Disappointing-not because of tour route but customer service and unfriendly guide.
We walked at high speed to get there for a tour that we were told could accommodate our group of 4 only to find out it was booked. One of the individuals, who ended up being the guide on the later tour, was unhelpful and non-communicative.

Hello, We want very much to take corrective action concerning your experience. I take our guests comments very seriously and would like to address this with the guide. Could you please let us know what day & time you were attempting to take a tour? We require reservations and the only way to secure seats on our tours is to purchase the tickets. We are happy to accommodate walk up guests if there is space available. We look forward to hearing back from you so that we can prevent this moving forward.

Doug was an AWESOME guide!

Doug was a fantastic tour guide! He gave us a wonderful tour of Austin’s many districts, history, points of interest and its live music scene. Doug also gave us some tips on where to find the best Texas BBQ. It was a great way to spend our first day in the city and a wonderful overview of everything Austin has to offer.

Good but not Great

Love the Open-Air bus concept. It’s great they are open at this point in the pandemic. Masks still required EVERYWHERE in Austin, this includes while on the bus. Enjoyed the ride and seeing the Hill Country. Wish the information presented was more interesting. Great way to see what’s out there. Comfortable ride. Great views.

Lovely way to see Austin

This was a very comfortable and interesting tour. In the past we have always booked on the hop on/ hop off bus, this is so much better! Love the open top of the van. Love that we are able to get out and explore at different stops. Love the commentary provided both by the guide and the pre programmed audio. Loved that it was a small group with extra Covid precautions. Really loved everything about this❤️

Great way to be introduced to the city

We did a walking tour that included some food sampling’s as well. It was a great way to be introduced to the city. The guide was very friendly, prompt, and was very knowledgeable about Austin and downtown. The owner was very accommodating as well and helped put a tour together for us during this time of Covid. Great communication and a great tour.

A great day out!

Our local senior group, the Silver Branchers, make arrangements for a custom tour as a special day out. Mary helped plan our trip so we were able to take the train downtown and recommended a great lunch spot. the Moonshine Grill, after the tour. Our guide Greg, provided a customized and informative narrative and we made four stops with plenty of time for photos. It was an excellent experience! We're going to plan a wine tour next time!

Great Tour of Austin

Went on the “Offbeat & Hidden Austin 2.5 hour Tour with Stops” tour, with Jaye as our Driver/Guide. Even though it was misting rain the entire time, Jaye gave us the chance to enjoy a side of Austin we may have missed. Very happy we picked this tour and would give Jaye a 5-stars review! Thanks for a memorable tour.
