It's actually Texas Memorial museum, not Natural Science Center. We spent almost an hour looking for it. There was not a single sign for Natural Sciece Center! The place itself is very small, not that impressive.

Yes! Go! This is a very very interesting natural science center and is also an excellent place for well behaved children and also those from other parts of the country and other countries as well. Take comfortable shoes and spend some quiet time slowly. Look and learn.

I have a 9 yr old son that has loved this place since he was 2 years old! Just visited again today, and admission used to be free but that's no longer the case. $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for kids for 4 floors of history/entertainment. Great little gift shop also. It also costs to park in the parking garage... More

I had to look several times to ensure that this is the same place others reviewed. Our visit was not fun or interesting. We arrived on one of the coldest days of the winter in Austin, and doors were locked at 1235 pm. No sign on the door informing folks that due to the cold, the museum would not open... More

Great museum on the campus of UT Austin. Free. It shows the historic background of Texas back to Dinosaurs and Indian tribes.

Great museum, the fossils alone are so worth the price to park (entry is free). I have lived in Austin 40 years and never knew about this place. Go check it out. My teenagers really enjoyed it. We even went back and took their older sister to visit.

We had a great time. Very interesting and plenty of sights. It's free to get in so it was a real bargain.

Wonderful free museum on campus, fun for small kids as they loved it. The best parts were the dinosaurs and education around them found in TX. The kids also liked looking at the rocks and gems and animals. This museum is not very busy and small enough to be seen in about 2 hours.
