I booked a bike for three days during my trip to Austin. It was my sole form of transportation, and I wasn't disappointed. Austin is decently bike friendly, with good bike lanes and plenty of racks. And I was surprised by how many people noticed and commented on my bike: a retro-style Fairdale. It was totally solid and reliable, and... More

I didn't want a tour, I wanted to ride the great path around Lady Bird lake. I contacted Austin Bike Rental, they brought the bike to my hotel, locked it up, took my payment online, for a great price! After riding all day and seeing the sights, I text them and they came to pick up the bike again at... More

My husband and I went for a quick visit to Austin and we took the brewery tour. It was kind of funny because we were with two bachelorette groups, so my husband was the only guy.. aside from the tour guides. We had a great ride around the town and enjoyed the breweries. The tour guides were super nice. I... More

The rental shop (an old shipping container) is conveniently located in the heart of downtown, close to many of the hotels. Once you rent your bike, it's only a couple blocks to get on the trail around Lady Bird Lake if you choose that route. The rental is per hour...you go riding and they charge you for however long you... More

We just got to town and this was a great way to get the lay of the land. Keith was so knowledgeable about the city's history and culture. The ride was very enjoyable and we loved the great trail system. Put our feet in Barton Springs!!! Will probably go back for another ride while we are here!!!

Overall, we were satisfied. They added us at the last minute, and were very customer oriented people. The bike ride is pretty mellow and doesn't require much fitness or strength. We did the "Hey Austin" tour and mainly saw areas around Lady Bird Lake, Rainey Street, and the hot springs. I was hoping that we would go to SoCo too... More

We rented bikes this morning and cycled the hike and bike trail around the lake. Very friendly knowledgable staff who kitted us out with bikes helmets and locks along with welcome advice on accessing the trail from their facility and hints for negotiating the route. The trail was busier than we'd anticipated but we enjoyed it and enjoyed completing the... More

Not much for history buffs, but you get a good trip around the lake and some of the sights. Beware of the hills! If you are not a frequent biker this tour can be a bit much.

I rented a bike for 3 hours and just wanted a reliable, fairly lightweight bike to tour the city. That is exactly what I got, along with some excellent advise about everything from restaurants to unknown trails. I had a great time exploring this very cool city by bike.

My wife and I recently visited Austin for her birthday and decided to rent bikes one day. The bikes we got were nice, easy to use, and reasonable in price. The trail around the lake was very scenic and mostly shaded on a hot day.
