This street has great character. Loads of food trucks, great bars and restaurants. We went into Junes Cafe for lunch. It was pretty slow but the food was great and the character of the place was unreal. We sat at the counter. I would recommend...More

Tons of fun shops with unique personalities -- a few just "junk" shops mixed in. Cute restaurants and food trucks. Walkable and safe! VERY HOT in July.

We loved South Congress Avenue. So much to see and do for all ages, and parking was really easy to find.

S. Congress has so many shops, restaurants, and characters around. It is one of my favorite places in the city! Support the local businesses and check out S. Congress!

So many neat shops and food! Must try the candy shop full of classics. Try the Magnolia for lunch or dinner.

We kicked around up and down South Congress Ave and enjoyed checking out all the shops. There are tons of great places to eat there too.

Cool, trendy street. Lots of shops and restaurants. We didn't walk it, but would be a cool place to walk around and explore more if I ever make it back to Austin.

I grew up in the South Congress Avenue area over 50 years ago. It's great to see a lot of older stores still there.

Yes, but Uber and Lyft are no longer available. Instead, download the "Ride Austin" app; a similar startup created by mostly former Uber & Lyft drivers.
