There is a parking garage nearby with free parking and the walk is less than 3 mins away. Upon entering, you would need to sign a waiver and pick up your paddles. The shore is close by and the staff is informative and knowledgable about...More

Really fun activity to do while in Austin. Great staff. Informative and laid back. Made the whole experience fun for everyone. I went with my daughter who is seven and it was safe and fun for both of us. I liked the fact they taught...More

This has become our go-to activity for visiting friends and family. It combines the fun of kayaking with the beauty of the lake and city. The bats are an amazing sight and the tour guides are laid back and have a wealth on interesting knowledge.

I did the evening kayak tour to see the bats. Everything was great. Trip is about a 4 like kayak. They were very organized! Have everyone a bottle of water and a brief lesson on how to kayak, even though we didn’t have any newbies....More

Booked their urban day tour on Lady Bird Lake for our family of four the day before and we were the only ones taking the tour that day. It was a fun and pretty relaxing 2-3 hour outdoor escape, despite the heat. Don't forget your...More

We would have missed the bats if we hadn't had such a knowledgeable guide. Other groups were too late.

I don't know if they have gift certificates but I would highly recommend at least 2 kayaks (it's harder to paddle and move around in a tandem) so even 3 would be a good idea. Call them when you get a moment and ask bc they... More

Thanks for your question! We also have a 3 and 4 year old and what works best for us is to take 2 tandem kayaks. The adults sit in the backseat and the kids sit in the front seat. We do have a canoe that might work for all... More
