Our Stevie Ray Vaughan fans in the group liked seeing this and getting their photo taken at the statue. We enjoyed the river front park walk to get to the statue. Nice way to see downtown Austin from across the river.

Stevie Ray Vaughn was an Austin Icon and this statue is a wonderful memorial to him. It is currently on the walking trail near LadyBird Lake just in front of the Palmer Event center. Beautiful setting!

Very easy walk to the statue through a riverside park. Austin city skyline in the background makes for a nice photo.

What incredible history. Came here during a night time photography course . Take a camera and use a flash at night. It’s a haunting image with the city behind you. You might want to come in evening because day here in summer is way too...More
