The garden is not huge but has trails that make it seem bigger. Trails are easy to navigate but some gravel. Visit the indoor museum first to understand the sculpture. Don't go on a hot day.

Charles Umlauf was a prominent Austin based sculptor and teacher. His former home is now a pleasant sculpture garden and exhibition space. This is a nice 90 minute culture stop in the center of the city. Not overwhelming, and no one will have the chance...More

With a student ID, it's only $1 to see the gardens and the museum. So you more than get your money's worth. The museum features a recreation of Umlauf's workplace. They moved his actual tools and workbenches down from his house on the hill (which...More

My friends got married here. It's a great place to stroll through after a day at Barton Springs. Nicely shaded and beautiful art.

I went to a gala last spring and the restaurants represented were terrific! The variety and quality of choices to taste was amazing and fun. I loved how they provided wine choices also. They had a really terrific silent auction with very unique items.

It would have been nicer if the weather was better..100 degrees. The park is smaller than I thought it would be, but very nice.

I've been here twice. Once for a wedding reception and once with my boyfriend. Both times it felt very special and romantic. The garden is just the right size and has so many beautiful statues.

It is free to the public this summer due to large donation from one of their sponsors. I was a tag-a-long with my son and his girlfriend who wanted to go. I loved every bit of it. The lay out of the garden was so...More

There are other places in Austin that might welcome such services, though. The Butterfly Garden and the Zilker Rose Garden, for ex.
