We have been to Austin multiple times but this ride was by far the most fun we have had in the city. When we got to the Biker Lounge our guide Peanut ( his “biker gang” name) was very welcoming, friendly, and funny. He got us geared up and ready to ride. This was our first time riding an electric assist bike. Peanut gave us a very throughout explanation of how the bikes work. We were introduced to the bikes slowly, first down a quiet alley, then in a parking lot and finally through a parking garage. Just enough time to give us confidence to be familiar with the controls that we hit the streets. He took us to several land marks and really tailored the experience to us. Our group was more interested in murals so he took us to some famous picturesque murals but also some smaller off-the-beaten-path ones. At every stop he took great attention to setting up pictures and getting us some amazing photos as well sharing a wealth of information about the landmarks and history of the places we visited. Through the trip Peanut had a Bluetooth speaker playing while we were cruising and entertained us with his fun antics and humor. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting and we will come back and do it again in different season.
