I always think I'm at my best as a solo traveler or with one good friend, but CAMIBAart changed my opinion. Troy and Rene consistently deliver authentic experiences, and in Oaxaca, they gave me an insider's view of the art, architecture, archeology, and soul of the state's many cultures. Expect excellent company, good conversation, and artistic stimulation that will take you weeks to digest. And try the seven moles!

I just returned from a seven day trip with Cambia in Oaxaca. Small group tours are the best! Everything was well orchestrated on a daily tour. It was casual and time to do your own thing but also very educational. I could have never, in seven days ,figured out where all the artisans were and had the same experience. Would highly recommend. Can't wait for my next adventure!

I have been on a 1/2 dozen tours with Troy and Rene from Camiba Art. Whether it has been local East/West Austin Art Tour or an international tour, they create a wonderful experience for everyone. The Camiba Art team is incredibly thoughtful. This month I traveled to Oaxaca with my brother, sister-in-law, and my mother to Oaxaca. I always love the experiences that Camiba creates, but this trip was the most special. I traveled with my 80 year old mother and the attentiveness of The Camiba Art team and other travelers was above and beyond anything I could ever imagined. I am truly grateful to be a part of such a wonderful tour and owners I call friends.

Just went to Mexico City for the art fairs and on to Oaxaca. This was my 5th tour with Troy and Rene and I am already planning my next! Best value and group I travel with for art and culture in Mexico and South America. Already looking forward to our Buenos Aires trip in July. They always have small groups with like minded, knowledgeable and fun people. Can;t recommend them highly enough! This was a custom itinerary for us and this level of flexibility is another plus for working with Troy and Rene. They are constantly taking and incorporating input and suggestions from the people in the group and they allow you to do as much or as little as you want each day. It really is the best way to travel if you are single or want to have a group to travel with but not be constrained by having a rigid itinerary each day. They make the tour about you, not an agenda!

Totally cool Art, Cultural, Architectural, Culinary, Historical, Neighborhood Immersion, well-organized tour of Havana, Cuba with a few out-of-town excursions included to enhance the entire experience. Our pre-arranged accommodations were perfect and our "Casas Particulares" hosts were kind and attentive. The Vedado neighborhood we stayed in was literally within walking distance of the Malecon and always felt safe day and night. There were great little neighborhood restaurants around nearly every corner - one of our favorites close to our casa was Balcon del Habano. Our daily breakfast was included with our accommodations and was always perfectly prepared by the casa hosts. Our smartly-curated daily itineraries included studio, gallery, museum and cultural site tours planned at a manageable pace to accommodate our group. The artists we visited with were as interested in us and we were with them and the art they were creating and sharing with us. The gallery docents were articulate, informative and knowledgeable about the art, sculpture, artifacts and installations they were presenting to us. Our tour director, Rene Ibara and our Cuban tour guide, Darian Delgado were essential components to ensuring our days and nights were filled with interesting activities and our individual likings were met without hesitance. This CAMIBAart tour to Havana is an amazing value for the comprehensive exposure you'll receive to the culture of Cuba and its people. The Cuban people we encountered on a daily basis were glad we were there and made us feel welcomed in their country. Their expressions of "we love Americanos" were constant encounters while walking the streets or shopping the Almacenes San Jose Artisans' Market. We made some new friends during our trip and were impressed with the like-mindedness of the group as a whole. There is so much good stuff to share about this experience that needs to be shared person-to-person. Maybe we'll see you on one of the these art excursions to far away places.
