We loved this tour! After a hot, hot day, it was great to be on the water. Our tour guide, Tabitha, was fantastic. We kayaked around the area and she shared interesting facts about the lake and the skyline in Austin (great view of Austin...More
We enjoyed the trip, I had seen the bats from the bridge, much more impressive from beneath the bridge. Stephen was an fun, friendly, knowledgable guide. It was a lot of fun, nice warm water and a gentle current. Defiantly will go again.

Our guide was very nice and helpful with the Kayaks. However the negative to the trip: the trip should provide a cold water for the kayakers. At $55 it would cost the company less than $.25 cents for the water.
However the biggest negative was...More
My wife booked this trip for her birthday. While we have seen the Congress Ave bridge bats from land, there is nothing quite like seeing it from the water. We started off around 715pm and took our kayaks to Barton Creek and back to the...More

I didn't do the bat tour but I believe it is. The bats just fly out, nothing scary. There is no age limit but keep in mind the Kayaks have a 2 seats so you can be in a Kayak with your child but they would be sitting in front of you. I wouldn't recommend any child under 3 or 4 because you have to be using the paddle the entire time. So no kids that you still need to carry.
