Very welcoming. There seems to be music every night. The evening we were there it was a country singing girl – seemed pretty good to me. Room for a bit of dancing in front of the stage. Didn't stay long as we'd just arrived on...More

The Continental Club in Austin is a great place to see some real authentic bands in a legendary venue away from all the tourist action on 6th Street. Easy ride from the Hyatt Regency or downtown.

This is an Austin "must see"! The place has character. In the summer prepare to sweat. They get top-tier entertainment in this "dive bar" and it gets packed. People are friendly and I highly recomend it.

Austin has such a young population. It was fun to find a bar that seems to have people older than 30 years old. We were there on a Monday night so it wasn’t crowded. The band started at 6:30pm. They played a bluesy type of...More

If you’re looking for a legit small music venue with some great history, get to the Continental. Have been here in multiple visits for early or late shows and it never disappoints. Restored a while back to its 50s vibe keeps it rolling. You can...More

Great place to listen to local music. We stopped by to catch a local band on the lower level at 6:30 last night and had a great time. We got there around 6:15 and were able to grab a few seats in the back row...More

Very intimate venue to see some of Austin's finest musicians! We saw Redd Volkaert and his band. Lots of people dancing (very talented and entertaining!) and what a thrill to be in a place where there is so much history!

Yeah, not naked (please don't interpret that as snarky at all). No, there is not a dress code. Be comfortable.
