It's an interesting and different adventure. It's not an exhibit but it's amazing to see. Who could imagine that many bats in one place?! It's scary to think about but it's really just another wonder of nature. If you want to appreciate the beauty of nature take the free opportunity. When they take off its like a cloud of black... Just caught a glimpse but it was an amazing sight to see so many bats leaving the bridge for their night flights.

Rode my bike around the lake first while I waited for the sun to go down. The crowd starts to build and the anticipation starts to rise. Soon after the sun sets they start coming out and just increase. iPhones have horrible low light function so the video is not so great. It is an amazing spectacle to witness first... More

This was the coolest natural exhibition I have ever seen! We took the Lone Star River Boat for the bat cruise, and we're not disappointed. Tens of thousands of bats came out, underneath the bridge is teeming with them. You can hear them before they come out chirping while still in the bridge! I would recommend this to anyone, it's... We got to the bridge around 8:30 when it was still light. There was a park under the bridge so we were able to find a good spot to view the bats. The bats have a mind of their own and they did not start coming out till around 8:55. By this time it was dark and very hard to... More

I had heard that this was amazing. When we went to the bats came out at dark so other than seeing something that looked like white smoke, and that it was not that great. I think if they come out at Dusk it is far more amazing. For us it was just OK because of the time they came out... More

We liked it, but it happened to be the first of June where the mothers are nesting so they don't fly out like you hear in an awesome climax. I here they do, just not on this visit. Very beautiful area and the bridge is sprouting with people looking for a bat buzz. Worth a watch and with kids it's... More
