- michaelpoto4Boston, Massachusetts158 contributionsAn MLB Stadium Not To Be Missed!!I came here with my dad and brother to watch the Rangers play Seattle in a 9-8 Texas win. The field is beautiful (and temperature controlled) and the Texas crowd consists of a bunch of top notch fans. Very welcoming and kind, even though we had our Red Sox gear on. We would definitely return to watch another game in this state of the art stadium! Five Stars all day long!!Visited September 2023Traveled with familyWritten April 5, 2024
- Howard SYardley, Pennsylvania431 contributionsAnother stadium checked offMy SiL loves baseball and is out to see all 30 stadiums. In Texas to see the Eclipse so picking up another stadium. Nice place, impressive architecture with movable roof. We got seats in section 324 way up behind 1st base foul pole. Can see well after sun went behind roof. Big crowd. Home team is loosing bottom of 5th. The sound system is awesome at 88 DbA. Bring ear plugs! Parking is expensive at $35. All payments require a cc.Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 7, 2024
- Leslie FClermont, Florida12 contributionsMLB All-StarCame to Texas for the MLB All-Star week. What an experience! We were very impressed with everything at Globe Life Park. The staff were so helpful & friendly from the gate attendants to the bar staff to the security team. My only issue was that it was very hard to hear what announcers were saying during the games. Other than that, this event was so well run & top notch! Thank you Globe Life Park & Texas Rangers for your hospitality!Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 3, 2024

We did the ballpark pregame tour. It was a waste of money. It cost us $63 each. Our guide was amazing and really knowledgeable about the stadium and passionate about the Rangers. The tour route was a huge disappointment. They walked us through the 300 level upper deck concourse for 20 minutes telling us about the colors of paint on the walls and the bricks. There was a lot of detail about how the roof opens and how they never open it. Then we walked through the 100 level concourse to see where they sell concessions. The tour ended after about 45 minutes even though it was a 90 minute tour. They did not give us access to anything beyond where our normal ticket allows us to go during a game. There was no tour of the locker rooms, training rooms, press box, luxury suites, club suites, field access, or even a loading dock. My father and I have done these tours at many pro stadiums around the country and this was by far the biggest let down and most expensive. I called the tour manager today and expressed my dissatisfaction and asked for refund. I was told there is a strict no refund policy. She agreed the tour has nothing special, the website description is incorrect, and blamed it on MLB. We did the Cowboys AT&T Stadium tour the next day. It was cheaper and takes you through everything even the cheerleaders locker room and the field.

Looks like a warehouse from the outside. Inside is generic looking. The roof was closed when we were there. It's not pretty but for sure made watching the game comfortable temperature wise. My wife and I were the first ones in and immediately went too a restaurant there that had picnic tables inside next to it. There was food crumbs on the tables and fries and dirty napkins on the floor. At least clean the place up! Come on, it's new! Seating is good. This place doesn't have the character that the old stadium had. AT&T stadium blows it away for sure!

Our tour guide was dull, he would have side conversations with certain people/families only. He called one of the players African American players "Gorilla." I am not saying his intentions were to be racist, but it was simply inappropriate. We were the only Latinx there, and the two that he avoided most often. Again, I am not saying his intentions were to be cruel/unsensitive, but he just was. I was very angry & frustrated the majority of the tour, but was not "allowed" to exit until the tour was over.
The only plus was that we got team face masks and we got to meet chuck Morgan. He was very nice!

One last visit to the great Texas ballpark in Arlington.
It is a really enjoyable venue, great nightlines, easy to move around.
A pity that they decided to build a new park even though it is only about 30 years old.
Of course we are now looking forward to a great new stadium in Globe Life Field with its sliding roof and more modern facilities.

The acoustics at the Elton John concert were horrible. It sounded like the band was inside a tin can and the echo was terrible. Very disappointing to pay so much for good seats and not be able to enjoy the sound or understand the words! Where were the sound engineers?
Will not be going there for any more concerts!

This was the second concert our group of friends have gone to at Globe Life. The acoustics at the first concert last year, Chris Stapleton/Willie Nelson, were the worst I've ever heard at a large arena. Echo and reverb were truly awful, to the point you couldn't understand most singers words and instruments sounded very muddy. The concert this year was slightly better, probably due to where we were sitting. No one around us could understand any of Marcus King's vocals. Tedeschi Trucks Band's vocals were slightly better but echo/reverb still very negatively effected the sound quality. Sound was slightly better for Chris Stapleton but once again echo/reverb seriously degraded the sound quality to the point you couldn't make out a lot of the vocals. At both concerts everyone around us who commented on the sound quality commented it was some of the worst sound quality they had experienced at a live concert. Our prior concert was at AT&T Stadium and the acoustics were quite a bit better even though it too has echo/reverb issues. Globe Life needs to seriously hire an acoustics engineer to determine if they can fix, or at least improve the acoustics in this arena before hosting another concert.

Good amount of organized traffic control for parking. Stadium was easy and I really appreciated the roof since it rained during our game. Favorite food was the broomstick hot dog and the BBQ brisket on mac n cheese. Seat were horribly expensive from Stub Hub and I won't be able to attend more than 2 games as a result of it. I can't be connected to the game if we're in the upper decks.

We parked in a close lot across the street from the ballpark for $35 with easy in and easy out. Outside the stadium looks bland. Inside the stadium was expansive and nicely decorated. The concourses had plenty of tables and chairs for dining. With the roof closed and the air conditioning on, it felt so cool and comfortable inside.

this is a nice ballpark with all the amenities. It’s understandable with the heat here it’s a retractable dome, but not my kind of ballpark. Wish I had visited when the former park now Choctaw across the street was the Ranger stadium. It is a beautiful design.
Globe Life has a huge concourse and many levels with all types of food, especially bbq and meat choices.
However if you are a pescatarian or vegetarian eat before you go. One booth had a shrimp taco concoction, the salads are out of a vending machine, and the vegan stand had absolutely unappetizing looking choices. The vending machine salad was ok but came in a plastic mayo type jar. It was difficult to mix the ingredients and no choice of dressing. They come with one.
The Rangers have cheerleaders ala the Cowboys and a mariachi band that plays during commercials.
around the stadium is Lowe’s live a large building housing various restaurants and bars. Across the street In the Choctaw there is an open Mexican restaurant if you want a different choice

We are trying to get our son to as many MLB parks as we can and this one did not disappoint. We started looking in the Spring for parks that we thought would be open and we would be able to get tickets, as some we thought might only allow season ticket holders. They allowed people to go down for batting practice, but no autographs by the dug outs. Nice variety of food, the unique food I saw at this ballpark with the broomstick, which was a 24 inch hotdog. It comes with a special carrier with a handle. I believe the one with the works came with chili, cheese, grilled onions and jalapenos. I just got a regular hotdog with all of the above except the onions - it was pretty good. Hubby and son went for a plain hot dog and said he was just ok. The helmet ice cream cups are scooped ice cream, not soft serve, that was a bummer, you can't beat the chocolate/vanilla swirl. Very nice team store at the stadium as well. Would definitely go back to this stadium. We were staying at Live! by Loews and it was great to just walk out of the stadium to the hotel.

Hello! My daughter and I are visiting Globe Life Ballpark for the St Louis Cardinals games this weekend. We are wondering if there is a “sports bar” inside that might have TV coverage of hockey? Crazy sports fans like us need to keep up with our Blues too!

Hi! I read online that there is 6ft of netting on top of the dugouts to protect fans sitting in those rows behind the dugouts. But when I called the ticket office, they said there is no netting in that area. Can you please clarify? Thanks!

I am really not for sure on that. When we went they had the Enchant christmas light display going so I did not pay attention. Sorry this is a month late.

Hello - has anyone done the Batting Practice Tour, and if so how was it? Did it also cover the regular stadium tour agenda?
Written July 11, 2018
Sorry, we did not do that.
Tour was fabulous and only thing offered when we were there.
