My family are escape room junkies, and we spent our Saturday night inside the Pharaoh's Tomb. This was my first time at The Perfect Escape. This room was easily one of the best rooms we've done, and we've completed more than 75 rooms in 6 states. First thing you notice is the room decor, which is incredibly unique and thematic from the statues to the floor. Before we started the gamemaster asked how we were going to do. I said we were going to get out. He chuckled. I didn't realize how difficult and challenging the room was going in. It took all of our brain power and teamwork to work through all the puzzles inside to escape the room with 4 minutes to spare. The game master was great, and I would thoroughly recommend this trip to Egypt for anyone who desires a great time mixed with a tough challenge. Can't wait to do the other rooms here.

Hello! We're junkies too! (150+ rooms). Our goal is to challenge veterans but still have a great time for beginners. Thank you for your kind words!

Been to half a dozen escape rooms across Texas, this is by far the best I’ve done. Lots of interactive puzzles (not just padlocks and codes), avoids annoying red herrings, great decorations and super spacious rooms. Pharaoh’s tomb is great for a mixed group of both experienced and new escape room goers, the theming is super fun but it’s pretty challenging. Wong’s Chinese is by far the hardest room I’ve ever done, I recommend a group with least 4-5 experienced puzzle solvers. Will be coming back to try O’Bannons some day.

We did the Wong's room, and it was FANTASTIC! We had Tori as our guide and she was AWESOME! Her hints were great, not too much, not too little, and it was obvious she was paying attention at all times, because we never had to wait for a clue/hint. The second we asked for one, she was typing it out! Her post game talk was great as well, she let us know about the other rooms and how great they were also, answered our questions and thanked us for coming. The room was great, SO many puzzles lol, just kept going and going lol. It was great, and Tori was even greater! Thanks!

I cannot adequately say how wonderful our night was at The Perfect Escape on Fri Feb 26, in the 9pm slot. The Pharaoh's Tomb is a beautiful escape area with interesting and fun puzzles and details. I have an entertainment and theatre background so can easily appreciate the care and detail in place for the experience. We had a group of 10 people celebrating my son’s birthday. All had a great time.

When we first arrived, some weren't sure where the door was. The building has a plain and unassuming office exterior. Look for the logo on the window and read the signs. Entrance is on the west side of the building.

Only three of us had been to an escape room before, but they all felt this escape room was far more interesting, fun, challenging and detailed. They also said, unlike Pharaohs Tomb at TPE, in the other escape rooms, traps and interactive elements did not work on their own. Those venues required progression events to be triggered by staff in control rooms every time players completed tasks. Clearly this was not the case in our room. We directly triggered every puzzle to the next level through the specific actions we did on site. It gave a feeling of authenticity and accomplishment. I don’t know at what point I forgot about the world outside, but shortly into the experience, we felt completely immersed into our goals and the tomb world. Very challenging, requiring all of our individual skills to solve and progress. The room was so good, they may have ruined us for lesser rooms! We made it out with 52 seconds to spare LOL. We are thinking about next time- Many of us want to check out the Chinese restaurant room in The Perfect Escape.

We also used their party room- which was a converted conference area. They allowed us freedom to bring in our own food and decorate. We even left our stuff in the room which they locked during our escape. It worked out great for us. What a convenience. Staff was super accommodating and helpful when planning.

Wow. We are extremely honored you took the time to type out a very detailed review. Our feelings echo yours, in some other escape rooms, certain triggered events were accidentally mis-timed or not triggered by the game master and it ruins the effect, so everything we do is activated by the players. Thank you for taking the time to type this all out. Wong's is our personal favorite.

I was looking forward to this escape room but unfortunately I was not able to participate in the experience. I was told to be there by 11:45 AM friend and I arrived at 11:35AM. I called and was told they were running a little late but were 5 minutes away. The game host (who was very apologetic) arrived almost 50 minutes later. By this time we were frustrated and ready to go so we decided that we would leave because we were already on a time limit. The game host said they would refund me due to the fact this wasn’t my error. Anyhow I received a email for a credit of $20 when I paid $60 for the tickets. I replied to the email saying that it was unfair that I was receiving this credit and I paid way more. I was not told that I could reschedule or anything. I have yet to hear back. Smh I hate when people get over on people like.

Hello, I have responded to this review that was copied and pasted onto Google. We have apologized for our host being late, although not as much the 50 minutes estimated, and we gave an Additional $20 dollars credit on top of the $60 dollars paid credited back. It would be our pleasure to host your group, and if you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to email or call us.

We did Mr. Wong's Restaurant. It was quite challenging. Joey was our host, and he was good at giving clues except most of the clues we had already worked out before they were given to us. There is a limit of 3 clues which is a bit strict and also a ridiculous rule anyway. (Maybe a limit for the leaderboard which was never our goal.) The room was well set up, the variety of puzzles was good. As Joey said, this is a mom-pop escape room so the rooms don't change. There was a bit of a dated element to the room. Also, I will say that finding the location is tricky. There is no signage on the outside of the building. You must go into a random, non-discript building and find your way to the correct suite. Consider that your first puzzle....

Hello! Most groups will use more than 3 clues, it's for the hard-core enthusiasts who like to stick with the limit. The experience was based off of our childhood in the 90s growing up in our family's chinese restaurant. We aimed to capture that vintage mom pop place. Unfortunately, the building owner won't allow us to put up many signs, however we're only a phone call away! We apologize it's an plain office building.

My family has done escape rooms around the world and the theming and experience of Mr. Wong's is one of the best we have seen! The puzzles are multi-linear, so there was always something for everyone to work on. My favorite park about this was the authenticity of the room and the variety of puzzles. Bring your A game to this room!

I should note that all rooms are private right now and deep cleaned between sessions!

Yay! We're a big fan of puzzles with separate chains to reach the end, it gives us the chance to give it some variety and involve everyone. Thank you for giving us a shot!

My girlfriend and I were looking for a last minute fun date and came across The Perfect Escape. We actually were referred by another escape room company. We went and enjoyed every bit of it. All of the clues and rooms have enormous attention to detail and give an amazing sense of reality to it. The room didn’t feel “campy” and the experience was amazing. I would 100% say that this is the escape room to go to in the DFW area. I don’t usually do reviews but this experience was great enough that I felt that I needed to.

Thank you! Your review means a great deal to us. We are still just a small mom and pop business, and are competing with the big budget chains. We've been blessed with many other escape rooms employees enjoying our rooms, and recommending us. Thank you!

I've been to a couple of Escape Rooms previously but this one absolutely blew me out of the water. I just want to start off also but saying I'm grateful for Anna making our experience private. I agree that more people is always cool but when it's just your own private party it makes it THAT much more fun since you're more comfortable. We did one of the harder rooms, The Pharaoh's Tomb and it was honestly amazing. There were so many moments where our jaws dropped when we figured something whether we were helped or not. The GM was super kind, helpful, and guided us whenever we really needed it without giving up the answer completely. The room itself was very immersive and if you like looking at the bigger picture in terms of problem solving then this is the one for you. I will definitely recommend this to anyone looking for some wholesome fun and I will be back with others to try the other rooms for sure.

My husband & I did Pharroh's Tomb with a friend. WOW- so much fun, but it was REALLY tough. We didn't escape and up until this room we've done 8 others and we've always escaped, usually with plenty of time to spare. Our recommendation would be to do it with at least 5 people, there was too much to do with just the 3 of us. Good luck- you'll love it.

We designed the room for 9-10 players, with 3 it does take quite a bit of hustling to complete. Super happy ya'll had a great time. Thank you!
