Rather you are age 9 or 60 or anywhere in between, the 45 MPH Go Carts will make anyone giggle. We go annually for my husbands birthday. This year, my nephews enjoyed the super fast carts. Great place to go while near Houston and they can cater to lots of people.

It started out with a text from a few friends who decided it would be nice to see some motorcycle racing because it was just a perfect afternoon to be on a motorcycle. Some about a group of 20 motorcycle rider got together and rode from Houston to Angleton which is about a 30 minute drive outside of Houston. You have to make you look for the blinking yellow light as make your way down to Hwy 288 so you wont miss the turn.
To attend the event it was $5.00 if you rode your motorcycle in but i didnt pay attend to the cost of cars. You do need to sign a wavier upon entering.
One thing i did enjoy was there was an option if you didnt want to watch the motorcycle races there is a go cart track across from the motorcycle track. There was a small refreshment stand but they also had a catering company with a 18 trailer that grilled chicken and burgers/fries with soda drinks.
The stands for the fans were in three parts which goes up one flight of stairs and there is limited viewing from below. The place is overall set up really nice and the bathrooms were kept clean. It is a great family outing that is not that from away from Houston.
The awesome part was after all of the races were over they allowed you to ride you motorcycle/bicycle/scooter/atv on the track but you have follow the pace car.

Track is well set up and designed for fun. The area is wide open and the track conditions were good.

Just experienced a weekend of track racing. If you are participating in a track event, bringing your own race car, trailer and have racing team members be sure to arrive on Thursday, before your weekend racing event.
Be sure to bring orange cones, coolers, chairs, grill and a large canopy tent or two. You will need several spaces for your tow vehicle, race car, trailer, all your team members POV's, tool boxes, canopy tents, etc. You may have only purchased one paddock spot, but here is what to do.
Use the cones, chairs, tool boxes, et al, to mark your spaces while you unload, so other participants cannot park in the two, three or four spaces you will need for you and your team members.
Rest assured, that if another team asks you to make space for them in the paddock area, you do not have to comply. They should have arrived earlier. If they complain to track management nothing will be done to make you accommodate another team. They may have paid the same as you, but you were there first.

We did a WRL race here in March. I never seemed to tire of the layout. It is home base for a lot of Spec Miatas.

As a racer this track needs track changers to maker it s first class driving experience. I doubt the local racer knows the difference if thirds is all they have ever experienced. But glad they are there serving the road racing community

MSR HOUSTON is great place to celebrate whether it be for kids or adults. We had a employee "get away " day and a fun time was had by all. Their staff was friendly and professional. I think they have different levels of Katrina that will accommodate amd engage all age levels. They also have a thrill ride experience in some pretty awesome cars for those who have a real "need for speed". I highly recommend this establishment.

I see no place other than web site for up coming events and are events open to the public to watch don't know. Driving in feel lost if your first time there. Directions not clear where to go. Most instructors area good but not very patient. Could stand to be better organized. Not bad place. Not really designed for a spectator just for drivers.

Had a corporate team building event. Facility is a bit older, but full of character! Had an event for 48 people. They recommend a caterer for lunch (fajitas and desserts were knockouts). We booked the afternoon, with a meeting room upstairs, with a balcony overlooking the race track. The racing was a lot of fun, time trials, head to head, what ever you want. Well organized. The only negative, is it took a lot of time to register all the drivers, recommend to do this in advance if you can. We brought in our own afternoon refreshments and beverages. Alcohol allowed only after you finished driving.
