We loved this place. What foresight of mrs Harrington to move into an older home then not go mad changing things! Despite having oodles of money and the possibility of doing as she liked. Great ambience.

Don and Sybil Harrington are legends in the Texas Panhandle. You will find their names on everything from a Boy Scout camp to a cancer treatment center. But their philanthropy isn't limited to the Panhandle. The house auditorium at the Metropolitan Opera in NYC is...More

After reading reviews, we booked a tour realizing it was limited. What a treat that was with only a group of 4 people. You could actually see things. A nice tour if you can make it...it's worth it

What a fantastic surprise in Amarillo! Loved touring this exquisite home. The lovely ladies guiding the tour were equally delightful, and it helped deepen my appreciation for the Texas Panhandle.

Unfortunately, tours are only done two days a week and only four are allowed at one time. However, this was a wonderful, up close tour of the prominent Harrington family's home. The Harrington's fingerprints are everywhere in the Amarillo area, as well as New York.

There's nothing "can't miss" about this place, but if you live in the Texas Panhandle, your life has been affected by the lives of Don and Sybil Harrington, and it's interesting to see how they lived. And the holiday decorations add a nice touch too.
