I came to learn about the Social Service program that Amarillo College started. I just fell in love with this place. The college president is so insightful and his staff is great. Everyone I encountered was friendly, devoted to student success and making a difference in the community. The student first attitude they have is so refreshing. The leadership team... More

It's not so much a tourist attraction as it is a great place to get an affordable start of a quality college education. It has a campus feel that gives it more of a college identity than many community colleges have. The teachers are generally quite good and care very much about their student's success. Cost is unbeatable, of course,... More

If the people in Amarillo are all as friendly as those at Amarillo College, I would seriously think of moving here! I was invited here for a conference. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. While some of the facilities are old, they are still clean and well kept. The staff at Amarillo College were quick to be friendly and offer... More

We turned up here on a Sunday afternoon. We were met by a very friendly security man who told us all about the exhibits. Unfortunately we had just missed some good exhibitions. Never mind we enjoyed seeing the students work and the permanent collection of stone artefacts.

Everything you need for a full college. You can go to a University after two year at AC (Amarillo College). You have a small town feeling and a very safe place to go to school. Their offer class for part-time, full-time and class for fun.

I attended this college in 1984 and 85. I went part time at night and worked during the day. The courses were taught by very good teachers and the college of clean and well maintained.

I've been a student here for almost 2 years now. The professors/instructors are amazing. Helpful. They're understanding. The work load is worth the education.

An excellent education at a bargain price. Too many different programs and majors to mention. Several different campus locations.
