This facility seems very well kept. We've attended a couple of events here and the staff are always on duty. Not the most cordial, but i guess I wouldn't be happy about cleaning up after people, either.

Make it a point to attend the WRCA Ranch Rodeo Finals the second weekend in November, 2016! Great entertainment, trade show, and working ranch horse show. Order tickets early for Friday and Saturday performances!

Amarillo is run by the good ole boy system that only lets it's people have and do what THEY want Amarillo to have.. We use to have country music and other band concerts that were filled to capacity, but then the Globe News Center became the next money maker for the city fathers and for contractor friends and real-estate moguls... the ability to see all events from anywhere in the arena is awesome and the room available for all the vendors is wonderful, all undercover so no matter what the weather is outside.

Our Civic Center is great. If you are a Hockey fan, Stop and see our Rattler's play. We have many entertainers and big bands come here. Paul Revere and the Raiders was my first big concert, front row, center seats!!! Wow!!! Always check online to see whats going on when you are going to be in town!!!

Worst concession stand(s) in the state, possible America. You miss alot of any program because the concessions area is very poorly operated!

Amarillo Civic Center is too small for a town the size of Amarillo. We need something large enough to have a concert (which can't happen here). This "civic center" is fine for small conferences but that is about it.

$100 may not be much to you, but in my household that is a fortune. Especially to spend on two Michael Jackson Show tickets (Nvincible) which is what I did to treat my husband to one of his icons last week. I splurged on what should have been great seats for a wonderful evening close to the front, and we... More

It's a good venue. Lots of space and the parking isn't too bad. It's easy to find and easy to get out of.

Much better event facilities than even larger cities have. Multi-purpose, no telling what kind of event will be going on there. Ample free parking--what a great benefit. Easy access from any direction.
