During this covid as we took my nieces and nephew to wonderland they dint pervid any hand sanitizer threw out the park they were all empty. The lady at the funnel cake station look very dirty and dint keep her station clean and was very very slow while we were in line for the funnel cakes people were working away. Most of the workers who ran the rides dint wear masks and the rainbow ride sounded as it was going to break down they need to up date all rides before someone gets hurt on them rides also the tree by the rainbow ride needs to be trimmed down it's too tall and hits the rainbow ride each time it goes up.

Thank you for taking time to leave us feedback. Wonderland Park has always made safety a #1 priority and we made no exception during COVID-19. We have been taking every precaution to keep our employees and guests safe and healthy including temperature checks for all employees, assigning 'Clean Teams' around the park to focus on sanitation, reconfiguring seating and Queue Lines and having employees wear masks. If you saw team members without a mask, that is unacceptable and will be addressed immediately. In addition to regularly cleaning the rides, we have provided hand sanitizer stations throughout the Park. We do apologize if you found a station that was not full. This does happen from time to time when we have a busy day at the Park.

I was very disappointed in our trip to Wonderland. I have not been there in several years but things have gone downhill since my last visit.

There was a sign at the gate three rides weren't working. We had a small child so we were in the section most of the time. The helicopters were not working and neither was the train. These weren't posted at the gate and there certainly wasn't a discount on the price. There aren't a lot of rides for a small child and with two of them closed there wasn't a lot for her to do.

We went to the concession, to get drinks, on that end of the park and we needed to pay with a WOW card. The kiosk to get that card was closed in that section and the closest one was at the other end of the park. I then was going to pay with a debit card and I was told the concession stand didn't have any ice!!!!

We went to the next concession and paid $4 for a drink but with no lid or straw. At $4 a drink you would think you would be a lid and straw.

I worked at Wonderland many years ago and I know Paul Rhoads would never had let his park get in this shape.

88 dollars to get me and my grandchildren into park and they told my 2 year old all he could ride was merry go round and train and the train was broke. Then my 7 year old granddaughter could not ride what she wanted because they said she was too tall. Too tall to set in a little bumper car. If we cant ride anything what did I pay all that money for. Also the young kids running the rides have no manners at all and couldnt care less if you ride or not. Most of the arcade type games take your quarters and when you tell the attendant about it they just ignore you and do nothing. I had two young high school age workers I complained to and they both were very disrespectful and could not care less. Very sad because I live in Amarillo and have been to Wonderland several times over the years but not again. It has gone too far down hill and is not worth my time or money anymore. Dont waste yours.

My nephew was electrocuted by simply touching a railing at the park. The staff at Wonderland tried to downplay the incident but my nephew had burns on his hands and arms. This is unacceptable.

Not only the ride lights but the park lights with people still trying to get off rides!!!!We couldn't see & an employee walks my 8yr old out the gates & leaves him. My son was found between two cars in the parking lot. Why would they not leave the park lights on as people are trying to exit the park, Very unsafe & I am beyond unhappy about this matter!!!!

We went on Sat since that's what fit into our trip. I only had a coupon for $2 off so paid $23 for the kids and $38 for me. NOT worth that price AT ALL! I LOVE amusement parks and coasters, but this was all around a disappointment. There is an assortment of rides for all ages, BUT I felt the maintenance of the rides and the care of the ride attendants LACKING. The seatbelts on the rides VARY in sizes since they trim them due to aging/weathering of fabric. Unfortunately, that means that you may fit on one seat, but not the next. Rather annoying. Several attendants didn't bother counting how many riders to let in. Just opened the gate and if the coaster filled up, then those that didn't get seats went back to the waiting line. This system resulted in pushing/shoving along an open coaster line! Ridiculous! One attendant who WAS being watchful and obeying the height regulations was being chastised by a parent whose child clearly was too small to ride because the LAST attendant ALLOWED the child to ride! What?!? The park is worn down, needs a paint job, awnings are missing off umbrellas and the hot air balloon ride, trash/food litters the area,... If you WANT to still go, then go during the week when the park is open only in the late afternoon/evening and therefore the tickets are cheaper. Do NOT let your kids walk the park themselves due to the lack of safety! I've been to carnivals that were safer and better managed than this place! I think it's a waste of money!

Wonderland has been run by the Borchardt family for over 60 years, and my wife and I met up with the managers, Paul and Paula, on our visit to North West Texas. They told us a little about the history of the park and the roller coasters, and it was a privilege to meet them.
Wonderland has 4 roller coasters catering from the younger guests to the teenage thrill seekers, and on our visit it was clearly a popular place to be - the place was very busy. As well as the coasters, the park features a number of other rides and attractions, including a drop ride and an excellent dark ride, the Fantastic Journey. The largest of the coasters (Texas Tornado) and the dark ride require separate tickets but are both worth doing if visiting the park.
There is free parking along the front and side of the park.
Whilst the park is not Six Flags, in many ways it is a nicer place to visit than these larger parks, and is run by some great people who enjoy carrying on the family tradition of thrilling 'children' of all ages with a great selection of rides and attractions. Well worth a visit if in the area.

A small sorry excuse for a amusement park. Rides are dirty and the KIDS operating the rides don't care about. anything. The entry price doesn't even allow you to ride the main rides.

I grew up going to Wonderland during the summer and use to love it! But now it’s a joke; it is ran like a fair and the owner/owners only care about making a profit. When we got there all of the computers were down so they couldn’t let anyone enter the park. After about a 45 minute wait they started walking people to the “customer relations office”. But they weren’t walking people in the order we were lined up in. They were taking the biggest groups first. I guess that way they would lose as much money if someone decided to leave. After they walked us up to pay they didn’t give us a discount, a free drink, or anything to make up for us losing an hour of park time. The price you pay to ride every is $45 not far from Six Flags discounted price; although this park is less that 1/4 the size of Six Flags (in Arlington). Ok now we are finally in the park and ready to ride rides. Well 1/3 if the rides were closed, all of the water rides water was black, and every ride was ran by teenagers where were either on their phone or talking to friends. When we went to the concession stand for a drink and snake we waited in a line that didn’t move for 20 minutes only to see a group of teenagers walk off from talking to there friends (who were working), empty handed. After we order our stuff and they hand my wife her dink she asked for a lid and straw; but, since we bought the cheaper drink ($4 or $5) not the $10 Grub Tub they wouldn’t give us a lid or a straw. Did I mention the before you can buy anything inside the park you have to buy a Wow Card (a gift card) and that is the only way to pay. After we eat our snack and drink our drink we decided to use the rest of the Wow Card money on games. Well that was another joke. Out of all the games we tried only two of them would read the card. And all the teenagers “working”, really just being paid to be in their phone, just said oh yeah that ones been broke for a while try another one. Needless to say Wonderland is just that; a pathetic piece of land that leaves you wondering why you spent your hard earned money their. If only read this last sentence I will make it clear; save your time and money, and go somewhere else!

Hi Julian Blayne B, Thank you for taking the time to review Wonderland Amusement Park. We are sorry to hear that your visit was anything less than perfect. Unfortunately, our point-of-sale system unexpectedly went down one weekday in August. Our staff diligently worked to get everything back online...but our hands were tied due to our wireless company being unavailable for a period of time. We have offered other visitors make-good passes, and would be happy to send your family 4 WOW Passes to enjoy next year. As for our employees...we continually strive to ensure our staff is engaged with visitors, however, as you can imagine, keeping teenagers off their phones is a constant battle. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Regarding not providing straws and lids...this is something that has been in effect for 15 years at Wonderland. Sadly, those items end up in our water rides and clog up the pumps and screens. That brings us to your concern about the water rides. All water is properly treated and clean, but the pools are painted dark brown at the water level, which can create an illusion of the water being darker. Finally, the Park went cash-free three years ago in an effort to make things easier for kids and parents. WOW Cards can be re-charged online and replaced when lost if they are registered. This has been a huge hit with our visitors as they love the convenience of not having to carry cash.

On my 4th trip down the "Pipeline Plunge", I hit my head inside the ride, resulting in a trip to the ER and over $2,000 in medical bills. I was riding the ride correctly, I am not overweight, do not have a medical condition, etc. (if you will look up their safety history in the news, you will see that they tend to blame the rider). I suspect that the boat I was riding in was not properly inflated. Wonderland Management does not care. THEY DO NOT CARE THAT YOU ARE HURT ON THEIR PROPERTY.

I have been trying to get Wonderland to pay my medical bills for 2 years now to no avail. After I was hurt, we found the manager on duty and she took my information and an incident report (at our request). They never once contacted me to see if I was OK, or offered anything in return (not even a refund of our park admission!). I have since discovered from their insurance company (and I have it in writing) that they do not even carry the type of insurance for medical on their property (called "Premises Medical Payments Coverage"). TripAdvisor won't let me choose a time for August, 2015, so I want to be upfront about when this occurred. I am writing the review now because I got another letter today stating that they will not pay my medical bills. I wanted to give them another chance to do the right thing before I wrote my review. I want to warn people about the safety issues with this park and their management.

Also, their bathrooms were DISGUSTING! No soap, diapers on the floor, they looked like they had not been cleaned in months. They had the old-fashioned kind of water faucets where you have to hold it on to keep the water flowing (not sanitary!)

GO AT YOUR OWN RISK! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY!

Although your experience was two years ago, we sure appreciate you leaving feedback. The management of Wonderland strives to ensure a safe Park for all to enjoy. We invite all of our guests to find the nearest employee and bring any issues regarding the restroom or other Park areas to our attention.
