Went to Kokernut field to check out a little bit of baseball history (Satchel Paige pitched here). The stadium is still in use by the local college and high school teams. It's a nice field and happy we stopped by to check out the field.

We caught a double header between the Alpine Cowboys and Trinidad Triggers recently. $6 got us a ticket for BOTH games. $2 sodas/waters and a mountain of Brisket Nachos for $5. Take that, MLB. You're right up close to the action and can feel the...More

What a wonderful park and facility. My family of 3 travels full-time and we are always looking for a nice playground for our son. This was it. We visited the park several times a week...always families and people enjoying themselves. Great trails and open areas.

If you are in Apline in May, June or July... you must check out an Alpine Cowboy game. They are a minor league baseball in the Independent League. The games are super. Cheap food and beer and everyone's family. We absolutely love it.

This is an incredible nostalgic park with not a bad seat in the house. Home of the Pecos league Alpine Cowboys, consistently one of the best teams in the league. Concessions are reasonably priced unlike MLB games and the food is excellent. All in all...More

Nice place to watch local baseball. Would have been better had we been told there was only one inning left before we bought our tickets.

Our family takes every opportunity to visit ballparks anytime we are on vacation, from minor league up to the majors. This one was the most unique we've seen. It's small, it's old, it's perfect. For $6 you get to sit in the same seat and...More
