Great variety of birds are resident and migrants here. You could spend a whole day just sitting at the visitors' center and log 30 or more species.

This birding hot spot has wading birds, ducks, flycatchers, songbirds, doves, hummingbirds, and raptors - along with resident nutria. Excellent visitor center and well-maintained trails. It's a great place to add to your life list.

Great park with lots of well maintained trails and features. Geared towards bird watching because well there are lots of birds there. Not limited to birders though.

So many beautiful birds! Take a birding tour with one of the volunteer guides. This was my first trip to Santa Ana, I am hoping it won't be my last!
