We enjoyed the Grace and in particular the upstairs historical area with reproductions of rooms from various time periods of the 1920s forward and a very interesting display of women’s clothing through the past 100 years as well as a smaller room with lots of memorabilia from the history of Abilene. The downstairs is a beautiful art museum with rotating exhibits. Overall, a lovely space and very quiet during our visit. …

If you have some time, it's worth visiting if you like modern art. It's has a lot of history and the staff was wonderful.

The Grace Museum is located in downtown Abilene in a wonderfully restored historic hotel. Some exhibits constantly change, except for a permanent one showing lifestyles of days gone by. The interactive children’s museum on the second floor is popular with the young ones. There is a gorgeous ballroom that can be leased for special events as well as a beautiful courtyard for warm weather ones.…
