Programs are offered on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 10:30am and 2pm. Admission includes an expertly guided walking tour of our resident bird aviaries as well as an impressive and awe-inspiring flight demonstration and all-day access to the Center grounds. The Avian Conservation Center is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit whose mission is to serve as a unique and permanent resource for educational, avian health, conservation and research initiatives.Annual memberships are available.

This was such a fun experience. The staff has a huge heart for birds and had answers to all questions. A must to see when near Charleston.

Unfortunately our 7 and 9 year old grandsons were bored so we left before the flight demonstration. We adults missed out!

Our visit to the Birds of Prey Sanctuary was very entertaining and educational. The folks who presented were knowledgeable and spoke well. My family enjoyed their visit.

I took my 11 yr old grandson and ended up loving it as much as he did. It’s informative and so very interesting. This is a great service to the Charleston community.

We stopped on our way to Wilmington,NC. We did the the tour and the flight demo. You need to allow one hour for each or call to see if u could just do the flight demo. I recommend a morning time, it was hot. Bring...More

I think it’s $18 for adults, kids under 5 or 6 are free. Sorry I don’t remember the student price.

Unfortunately, public transportation in this area is limited. You can take a bus as far as north Mt. Pleasant, but there are not options to get you from that last stop to the Center. You may want to consider Uber or... More
