Exciting!

My first time skydiving (did it for my 60th birthday). It was a tandem jump and the entire crew made me feel safe. Aaron was my partner and Mike did the video. They explained everything I needed to do, but still made it fun. I suggest anyone who isn't afraid of heights, do this with these guys! Also, I found a GroupOn so I saved a bunch.

Awesome Staff and Once In A Lifetime Moment!

Today my husband and I went skydiving at Andrews Airport. The staff greeted us and got right to getting our paperwork complete and ready to roll. Our instructors were excellent! Jay and Mike put our minds to ease before and during the jump! Instructions were clear and never did we feel unsafe or uneasy. The plane door opened and the rest well... I'm typing so it went great! My husband and I both got pics and a video which came out excellent as well. We WILL be coming back and skydiving with them again! Outstanding company!

Good setup, price gougers

Spoke with a skydive tandem instructor. No such "law" to not being able to bring go-pro. However, I feel they just want another 100 dollars for photos. Explore other options. Good instructors. Poor customer service.

The USPA and UPT (the manufacturer) of the tandem systems state that no cameras are to be attached to students. As Instructors we have enough safety concerns to handle without giving students a distraction of their own cameras to worry about. You have basic instuctions to follow, which aren't always followed as it is. I'm sorry you feel like that's "price gouging" but honestly if you call around you'd realize our prices are lower then most and no DZ allows personal camera per the manufacturer and the USPA. My girlfriend and I went this weekend and had an awesome time. Highly recommend jumping with these guys. Our instructors were awesome. Really great people there, only have good things to say about the experience.

Excellent Morning for Tandem Skydiving

This was the second tandem jump that I had with this group, and the experience was extremely stimulating. The instructors are very knowledgeable and will help to put your mind at ease. The hardest part is just stepping out onto the wheel at 10.5K feet. There is currently a groupon available for $150, and if you have a chance to join them, I would recommend getting out there at or before 10am. Aaron was my instructor both times, and he was awesome. Thank you for the great times.

Serious upsell!

The experience was great for my kids, but keep a couple things in mind. Don't buy the groupon before you check with them to see if they will accept it on the day you want to jump. They only take a couple groupons a day and availability can be over a week out. Secondly, the web site says they jump from 10,000 plus feet, but when you get there, they tell you that the jump is 8,500 ft and if you want to jump from 10,500 ft, it will cost you another $11. The pictures taken from the gopro of the tandem jumper are $70, and if you want a video, be prepared to shell out $150!!

It was second jump with them and this time my son wanted to go, he loved it and was ready to go again. Very safety oriented, our instructors Jay and Montrell were great we are looking forward to going again
