Although I've lived in Aiken for almost 25 years, I only recently visited the Train Museum! I learned so much more about Aiken's history than I had previously been aware of ! It's amazing!!

My wife and i were met with a pleasant and very informative guide upon arrival. The history was amazing and the displays of the model trains and towns local to the area are expertly done. Old and young alike will enjoy this visit.

You can get all the information you need about Aiken and buy souvenirs. There are displays about trains and real train cars. On the second floor there are dioramas of the train stations between Aiken and Charleston. These are well done and well described. There...More

Thank you. It took many years of research to ensure that the dioramas were 100% accurate including the colors of the homes and buildings.
