If you're concerned about safety, then DON'T COME HERE. All typical paintball safety regulations were ignored. Players were firing their markers in the safe zone and referees said nothing. Players were firing markers in places where other players had no goggles no and referees said nothing. Players were firing their own markers without goggles on and referees said nothing. If you go here, never take your mask off, don't expect others to follow safety rules and don't expect referees to enforce safety rules. Beware of your own safety at this place.

We had a horrible experience with the rental at Skirmish. The staff gave me several clothes without checking the size for the little kids standing right next to me. I asked them specifically if they could find a better fit for my kids but they seemed to trick me saying all the sizes were the same, which was definitely not true. After we put the clothes on, one kid got a still okay clothes while the others were stumbling on their long pants legs. I went to change several times and the staff very impatiently gave me random ones they grabbed without checking the size at all, and I ended up getting even bigger ones. A few times later they started laughing at me and talked to another person who seemed in charge of this with strange face expressions. She didn’t even bother to come to us to check what was going on. I finally got a not that bad clothes for my kids when my group was moving. My kids later told me that they were laughing at us badly after we left…

Awfully Abusive Staff. I thought The Government was terrible, but this Skirmish Staff could really compare. Mean Referees! Extremely Abusive! Please be Cautious. Don't bring your children here. Expensive Prices for a Horrific Experience.

We took my son and his friends for a birthday party. The place is massive. The rental equipment is very used and clogs often but it works fine. The paint balls are expensive as hen you run out.

My son and his friends had a blast! I would have another birthday at Skirmish however beware of stipulations on birthday parties. You MUST have 10 kids with you. My son had 3 kids back out and when my husband showed up with the seven kids he was told we would not get the party privilege's. He got a private playing field but they would not honor the free paintballs or t-shirt. It was an unfortunate situation as my son was already disappointed that 3 of his friends did not come. After me calling several times and speaking to many different people the general manager finally honored the party. The manager of Skirmish was no help and actually very rude. All turned out well and the kids had a great time.

This paintball place is loved by my Grandson. He meets his friends here or goes alone. If you make a reservation ahead of time you receive 100 free paint balls. He just loves it here. Paint balls are expensive, but I guess they are everywhere. People there are very nice.

I’ve played paintball for many years but this was the first time myself and a group of friends went to Skirmish. The facility is well maintained and the operation is humongous. They have food trucks and staging areas by each almost each field. I was blown away that they use Tippman 98 as the rental guns! These guns are accurate and durable a solid choice for any paintballer. Our referees were nice and took us to all the great fields including Tippman Castle. The only two things they need to improve on is a better way of starting/ stopping each game because it’s hard to hear in a field that big and the way of getting groups from one field to the next. At times it was chaotic. We still had a blast

I've never been anywhere else, so I can't compare it to much, but I absolutely love it here.

I never knew paint balling was so fun or how into it I would get. For under 50 bucks, you are provided with everything you need: camo coveralls to protect your clothing (and to hide!), a paintball gun, and a belt thingy to hold "ammo". The only expensive part is the paint, but it has lasted is about 4 trips for two people. There also run deals alllllll the time, which saves even more money.

The leaders are very knowledgeable and make it fun for everyone, no matter what age or sex. There are some bonfires and picnic tables/lockers that can easily make it a whole day adventure. Love it.

I go a few times a year. Went last Sunday and still fun. It is like real live call of duty. Always better if you bring you own big group and book ahead so you get the free paint balls (250 maybe). pro tip the balls are where they are making their money. My buddy and I did the math and I think if I remember it is about $0.19 every time you shoot so keep that in mind. At the end people like to just go shoot off all the extra balls and we are shaping out head. people will buy that from you not only people there who come back put people on ebay craiglist where ever. In the same vein you can buy SKIRMISH paint from there. You are not allowed to use anyone else's or any other type of paint on their fields. As I said this is where they make their money.

Aside from that the experience is just a fun day of bonding and hanging out. Again if you want the protip to be economical, bring a cooler with water or whatever you want no alcohol. The vendors there get you. $3.50 for a snow cone, I think $4 a very basic burger, maybe $3 for a hotdog, $5 for a grilled chicken burger. Water etc is not much better.

How it works, you sign your waivers, and then check in. You are given the basics and are allowed to pay for upgrades. Personally I think the chest protector is an epic waste. Do paintballs hurt, no not really. It depends on your definition. Maybe at worse like a rubberband snap and when its to more sensitive spots its worse (say you exposed skin) but if you are wear a regular loose shirt you will be fine because most shots are not direct. We played civil war and I took one to the chest and that stung but its fine. i got hit in the arm a few times and I didn't feel it or know until i saw the marks, Yes they can leave a bruise for a bit. looking at my arm now a few bruise are still there for hitting skin but not pain just a mark a badge of honor if you will.

You can also buy fatigues which maybe helpful for camo and not getting your own clothes dirty especially if you traveled in you car and didn't bring other clothes and are sensitive. The paint wipes right off and degrades in water so it washes right off.

You buy paint in the front too. Buy what you need /want for te day because otherwise its a long walk. How much is a sensitive question and depends on your play type marker etc. I tend to be more conservative one shot one kill so I've used less than 500 in a full day but others with speed ball gun go ham and used a case (2000). I would say on average 500-700 is fair.1000 is not uncalled for but you might end up wasting them in the end. Protip, protect your balls. Keep the cases, hopper and pods closed tight. Wen you are running if it pops open you will lose a lot of balls and hence a lot of money. You can't really pick them up because they can jam you gun if they are dirty. I think the 2000 is about $100 + 6% pa tax so 106, and $33+ tax for 500. Again this is on you. The more you buy the bigger the discount. there is no reason not to but a bunch if you are coming back anytime in the future although paint degrades if not stored well. IMHO, you can be fine with 500 especially in a Tippman 98 rental for a day if you don't go crazy. Sunday 16 of us i think used 3 or 4 days so 6000 or 8000 I forget and these were people with speed ball guns and a lot of wasting. that lasted us 10 am until closing at 5. At the end ammo was a bit scarce yes but again that were was a lot of waste. Protip if you bring 10 people get the group party deals where you get a free gun as the leader or a free case of paint if you are being kind to all. With that and reserving ahead of time you get the free paint 250 maybe plus a case is 2000 divide 10 that is 450 per person. That is a bit tight but if everyone throws in another 10 or so you can get a second case and not you are at 650 which is not bad or if you get two its not 850 and you are solid

After that you will get a safety briefing and be grouped into teams if you are in a big group. You get tape around the arm to know who is who. if its free play you will get that a bit later. You walk to the staging area where you pick up you rentals, mask gun(marker). You fill up the tank and are set. There are lockers (bring your own lock) and a picnic area people to help fix your markers if you bring your own, a place to chrono, a proshop and the food mentioned before. From there you are taken in your groups to the fields with a ref and its on. Definitely a good time and great exercise. place war hero without the danger. If you can ask to play on cargo. that gets intense.

There are places that do it cheaper. Places that might be closer. Maybe one or two with large buildings. But no one gives you the full package Paintball experience like Skirmish U.S.A. I've been playing here since the mid 90's, and have always enjoyed coming back. My one recommendation for any first timers, avoid any fields containing buildings like the plague. They are fun, but waste a load of paint. Especially for people afraid to move around or afraid to get hit. Stick to the fields with a woods setting. This will help you acclimate to strategy and game types. Then you can storm the castle.
