Rainy and cold the day we visited which is perfect Fall weather for a museum day. Excellent quality exhibit of women on paper from all over the United States, many from New York. We were impressed by the caliber of the works and curating at the museum. Simple, succinct displays and great space with good lighting for art.

The nice thing about this art museum is that it is not huge, so you can see everything in an hour or two. It's also not busy, so you can really look at the art. We enjoyed the mosaic art show as well as the Portland art in the main building.

The Museum is on the Campus of Southern Oregon U and has parking. Their permanent collection is not huge but "visiting" collections are excellent

The museum was a really nice facility, but was much smaller than I had expected. I would have put maybe an hour on the parking meter rather than 2.

Walk into this high-ceilinged, airy museum for an unexpected urban gallery experience. Entry to this Southern Oregon University museum is free. Docent tours happen Tuesday mornings, which we missed. As it was summer break, we parked on the street. Museum visitors' parking area wasn't clear in the "college decal" only parking lot. The special exhibit on display during our visit... More

This was my first time visiting. I had looked up art exhibits to see while in Ashland. It was a wonderful surprise to find a well curated art space here in town. The exhibit showcased outside artists. working to an environmental theme. So enjoyed it. parking was across the street

A lovely museum and easy to access. There was a small but excellent collection of photo grams on display as well as some well conceived installations. A quick stop to get your art fix! Right across the street from the 7-11 and near the Flagship Inn. Admission is free, although the museum suggests a $5 donation. Visitor parking is across... More

I've seen countless shows at this museum since 1989, and it is a jewel. Usually there's few visitors, so the galleries can be visited with little distraction. Great staff and helpful didactic materials to understand the exhibition.
