About
Their telephone number is: (541) 552 – 0202 A lovely Japanese-style bathhouse with massage, tea room, and even cottages. It is listed in your specialty lodging, but the bath house is truly an attraction, particularly if people are visiting Ashland and have some time between Shakespeare performances, etc.

Well this was my first time visiting Chozus. What a wonderful experience, very relaxing. I choose the Wednesday special. Only $19 for a soak, sauna, steam room an cold plunge. You won't be disappointed.

At a treat, my son takes me here. Its perfect every time! Private soaking, tea, edamame, pecans, misou soup all delivered waterside. The cucumber water is so refreshing. Just a great place to detox and relax. Must do!!

Bliss!

This is a blissful oasis for soaking in hotwater - beautiful garden too. I didn't get a change to visit the tea house part of this - but if I had time I would have. Peaceful, beautiful, clean and relaxing.

Among the best, most esthetic, most charming bath houses my wife and I have visited (and we have seen plenty).

Nice little getaway

My daughters and I were given a giftcard to this place for Christmas as part of a girls weekend away. We had a private hot pool for the three of us and access to the sauna and steam room as well as a cold plunge. We bought some sake, sweet pecans and edmame to enjoy in our private space. The experience was nice, the staff was friendly.

Soak away!
Oct 2016 • Friends
Chozu is wonderful for it's tranquility and wonderful soaking tubs, some hot, some cold and a wonderul dry sauna. There is also a steam bath in the locker rooms that will bring on a sweat in a matter of minutes. Chozu knows how to give you the little extra touches; salt for scrubbing post soaking, there is lotion, wonderful shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer and they give you these soaking towels that you can cover up with and soak - or your bathing suit as you prefer, some just use the towels for out of the water. There are some really nice touches throughout the japanese garden spa, lots of bamboo, textured planters, rocks and just a wonderful spiritual feel. My friend took me there for my 60th birthday and we just spent the afternoon "soaking". The cost was 25$ for a few hours of soaking and well worth it, very relaxing. Things to bring; water bottle for refilling and they have water available in the garden, sandals if you are not a barefoot type person and any other post soak toiletries; but know they supply sandals, towel, soaking robe and even water cup if you need them. Great way to spend a few hours!

Best Place For a Quiet Lunch or Meeting over Tea
Aug 2016 • Couples
Chozu always has a zen atmosphere and their teas are amazing. They also have tasty japanese small plates and a fantastic Sake selection with the best prices in Ashland.

Great place to go with a friend or business associate if you want a nice atmosphere and want to be able to hear them speak.

The bath house area is also heavenly! Love their sauna!!

This is an oasis of peace and tranquility. I had an hour massage followed by the use of the spa facilities. Loved every minute of it and came away completely relaxed and happy. The aesthetics are beautiful, the front desk staff wonderful. Highly recommend.
