There is so much to do and explore for kids of all ages. Many hands on activities and sometimes local artisans have displays to enjoy. They have a room that you can use for parties too!

Lots of fun and educational. The adults did lots of the science with each other as well as with the little one. Over an hour and could stay longer.

If you're visiting Southern Oregon with your children, ScienceWorks is a must-see destination. It's really interesting and educational, no matter how old you are. Males and Females, children and adults will find the time they spend there well worth it. And it's free! It doesn't get any better than ScienceWorks! If your children don't get excited by OSF plays, this... More

My kids loved the bubble room. Spent lots of time playing with bubbles, explores new bubbles. It was low season under a 104 weather and it was empty. Lots of exploring. We had a chance to pay in each station. My kids are asking to go back. Fun place for kids and the price is right for a family of... More

It's a little expensive, but my 3 year old had a great time. The place is huge inside with so much to explore. It is truly hands on. The bubble room was a highlight and visited about three times, but there was so much, and stuff hidden. Make sure to look around!

ScienceWorks Ashland, is not the SF Exploritorium, but it is adorable. Small and easy to get to, it won't overwhelm kids (or parents) into tears the way some of the bigger science kid's museums can. All the exhibits can be easily explored in a few hours. They have great summer camps for the locals and a good place for a... More

I visited as a child, almost a decade ago. Though I do remember it being a very fun experience where I learned a lot. It was a field trip and a highlight of my school year for sure.

Visted with reciprocal membership at local museum, but worth a stop on its own. Kids, age 3 & 5, had a great time but older children seemed to be enjoying too.

I once got in trouble for talking trash about this place on a bus in London, and a woman thought that I was talking about the London Science Museum. My mother explained and the woman apologized for the misunderstanding. All said though, if your kid isn't from a tiny village in Idaho and home schooled, they probably will not be... More
