My kids loved the bubble room. Spent lots of time playing with bubbles, explores new bubbles. It was low season under a 104 weather and it was empty. Lots of exploring. We had a chance to pay in each station. My kids are asking to go back. Fun place for kids and the price is right for a family of... More

It's a little expensive, but my 3 year old had a great time. The place is huge inside with so much to explore. It is truly hands on. The bubble room was a highlight and visited about three times, but there was so much, and stuff hidden. Make sure to look around!

ScienceWorks Ashland, is not the SF Exploritorium, but it is adorable. Small and easy to get to, it won't overwhelm kids (or parents) into tears the way some of the bigger science kid's museums can. All the exhibits can be easily explored in a few hours. They have great summer camps for the locals and a good place for a... More

I visited as a child, almost a decade ago. Though I do remember it being a very fun experience where I learned a lot. It was a field trip and a highlight of my school year for sure.

Visted with reciprocal membership at local museum, but worth a stop on its own. Kids, age 3 & 5, had a great time but older children seemed to be enjoying too.

I once got in trouble for talking trash about this place on a bus in London, and a woman thought that I was talking about the London Science Museum. My mother explained and the woman apologized for the misunderstanding. All said though, if your kid isn't from a tiny village in Idaho and home schooled, they probably will not be... More

Geared to young children and not so attractive to older visitors. More docents to engage both kids and adults would make this much more meaningful and fun for visitors

This is a museum dedicated to a hands-on experience for children, especially those between the ages of 5 and 12. On the other hand, it is also a fun place for adults to visit. It is a bit like a mini San Francisco Exploratorium.

What a great place to take your kids and family! My family loved the bubble room! But there are so many interesting things to look at and learn, and the human anatomy is pretty cool too. Definitely recommend going and taking your kids
