So much fun!!!
Nov 2020 • Family
We booked A Scottish Play for my 2 daughter's birthdays and they had a blast! Mattie was our host and was so much fun or as they called her "The Lady in the Walls" everything in this escape room was so well thought out and so much fun. The kids are still talking about it and now they can't wait for you guys to come up with another room! Escape Ashland definitely does not disappoint. And they are sooooo accommodating! Would highly recommend.

Amazing !
Jul 2020
Being it our first time to an escape room, we didn't know what to expect.
Especially going as a family, and having our 12 and our 7 year old daughters with us.
But the the team at Ashland's Escape Room, and especially Alex, did an amazing job, that made it a fun and memorable experience ! Thank you so much :)
Highly recommended !!

Escape the heat at Escape Ashland!
Jul 2020 • Family
It was a hot day in the middle of a pandemic and we stumbled across this gem! My husband and I took our 8 year old through her first escape room and she’s hooked! We did both rooms in one day and it was a blast! Our favorite was the Scottish Play but the Ramblin Rouge was a fun time too! A must do in the Ashland area! Very Fun!!!

The Scottish Play left my 11 year old and her birthday group excited and bubbly!
Feb 2020
My daughter wanted to do an escape room for her 11th birthday, and the Scottish Play did not disappoint! The partygoers all exclaimed that it was "amazing" and so much fun! As other escape rooms I researched were a little too scary, the Scottish Play had just the right amount of mystery as to not make the kids fearful. They were able to focus on solving the puzzle and not "worried" about something scary. It was a hit with the kids! As a matter of fact, it was so good, the adults wanted to do the Ramblin Rogue Saloon the next day, and that too was challenging and so much fun! Looking forward to Escape Ashland's next escape room!

Hi "Staycation"! My apologies for not seeing this thoughtful review with the fantastic detail. I think I remember this group well and their squeals of delight. I'm also happy to hear that the adults found some fun, as well. I hope you are well and hope to see you again at Escape Ashland in the future. Kerri

The Scottish Play is the best escape room ever!
Dec 2019
Just did the Scottish Play escape room with Escape Ashland and was blown away. The clues were both diabolical and ingenious. We had a blast and made it out with 7 minutes to spare. Loved it!

Great room, one of our favorites
Dec 2019
Team of 7, some of who have played over 45 rooms across 5 states, had a grand ole' time in the Ramblin Rogue Saloon. It's a new favorite for my adult daughter (over 35 rooms under her belt). Well-conceived decor and theme, engaging story and mystery, unique special props, clever puzzles, lots of fun to be had. This was the best escape room of the six we played in the area. Highly recommend to all. Be sure to tell the bartender any of your woes.

My two 20 something sons and I did the "Scottish Play" escape. It was so creative, the guide was so pleasant at, the clues were really fun and made us think more outrside the box - all just teriffic. We escaped in the alloted time, but just barely!

The Scottish Play was a family favorite!
Nov 2019
My mom has been wanting to try an escape room so she booked "The Scottish Play" for us to do during the Thanksgiving weekend. Both my parents had a hard time at first grasping what was needed to "escape" but my fiance and I were able to help them to complete the tasks before the time expired. Maddy (I think that was her name) did a great job helping us when we did need some clues to move on. The room is beautifully designed and had great special effects! I would definitely recommend it if you are visiting Ashland! It's perfect for the Shakespeare Festival community.

First escape room ever and it was great!
Sep 2019
I've been wanting to do this for a long time. The opportunity arose when it was pouring and our outdoor plans got canceled. It was fun and very well run. We did it just the two of us (my wife and I). We did the Ramblin' Rogue Saloon one. They say you can bring in as many others as you want, but the physical space you start in is quite small, and I can't imagine doing this with more than four people total. Two people was great. The puzzles were hard, but not impossible and Kyle was a very kind and patient hint-giver. It's so different from on-line! I loved all the real details and antique saloon setting, but there were a lot of red herrings!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review and for the kind shout-out to Kyle. We were happy to have the rain as well as the opportunity to host you both! (without any spoilers, we only put 2 people in the "first room" you mentioned which requires cooperation between the bars, so to speak! For 2 people, we modify the game play so that you can get yourselves out). In any case, I did not want you to worry that we were cramming 8 people in that small space! I hope that you try more escape games during your travels, and if you're ever back in Ashland, please give us a call! Thanks again!
