About
Escape Ashland is Ashland's unique live-action escape entertainment with two locations in the heart of downtown Ashland, just two blocks from the renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. "The Scottish Play" and "The Ramblin Rogue Saloon" are suitable for all ages and experience levels and are the perfect complement to theater, outdoor adventure and shopping. Solving the room leaves players feeling exhilarated, challenged and newly connected. Open 7 days a week, we offer appointments Mondays and Tuesdays and scheduled times Wednesdays through Sundays.

“The Scottish Play” with a mix of adults, teens and a second grader. Enough challenge to make it fun and some help prompts along the way. The set design was out of this world! Thoroughly enjoyed!

The review is simple: Escape Ashland is great and you should give them your business if you enjoy escape rooms. Our host was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. She also rocked a tartan ensemble in homage to the room's theme (The Scottish Play).

A group of friends from my work booked The Scottish Play Escape Room in Ashland and it was delightful! The set has several rooms. It is beautiful. The puzzles are thoughtful and intuitive, not so “guess what I’m thinking “ and frustrating as with other escape rooms I’ve done.

We booked A Scottish Play for my 2 daughter's birthdays and they had a blast! Mattie was our host and was so much fun or as they called her "The Lady in the Walls" everything in this escape room was so well thought out and so much fun. The kids are still talking about it and now they can't wait for you guys to come up with another room! Escape Ashland definitely does not disappoint. And they are sooooo accommodating! Would highly recommend.

This was a really fun experience! Our group ranged from 15 to 53 and it was fun for all. The room was set up very well and the puzzles were really well done. It will keep you thinking the whole time. Totally worth the time and money!

We had the best time ever! My hubby and I have been to quite a few escape rooms but this was our all time favorite! They use all your senses as a part of the fun which is really fun and unique. My teenager said this was his favorite part of our vacation. Would recommend for family fun!

Our host Erica was amazing!! Made our whole experience 10 times more amazing. The room was phenomenal and was built so well. The puzzles were fun and exciting. Not too hard but also not too easy to run through and it made it an awesome stop on our vacation! Thank you so much!!!

Just this past weekend my wife, niece and nephew decided to see that Escape really entailed and we had the most wonderful time. The four of us were in this wonderful room in search of the audition form for Henry V and we had so much to search in the room to find clues to the end result. Emily, the lady in charge, was wonderful and assured us that knowledge of Shakespeare was not needed but that we take to heart any little clue we might find in the room. We were there for 1 hour and the time went so fast as we looked and visited and came up with some clues that helped us finally get to the answer with a little help from Emily periodically.

Our group of five 50- and 60-somethings were escape room virgins and didn't really know what to expect. But, the host welcomed us, mentored us, and made sure that after our hour+ on the adventure that we were all grinning foolishly.
The game, obvious from the title, is to gather clues in the room you're locked in that enable you to open the exit door.
The quality of the experience is dependent on the inventiveness of the clue-makers, and these folks in Ashland were terrific. The room we were locked in had a theater theme, appropriate to Ashland and its Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The clues even had some OSF actors and special touches involved which made the room especially enjoyable.
Ian, our host, was friendly, helpful, and gentle with us when we screwed up. One of our members wanted to take him throughout life because she loved his warning, "You don't have to do that!" whenever she was doing something unhelpful. Wouldn't it be great to have an Ian like that follow you wherever you went, helping you correct your behavior?
Anyway. The five of us don't agree on plays or dinner places or a bunch of other stuff. But we all loved the Escape adventure.

The escape room was a fun way to spend time with my family! Escape Ashland is well run, beautifully designed and a certainly a challenge to escape, but we did it! I am so excited to have this new addition in our town.
