We have been members at Brooks for two years or so. Every time I visit I am more impressed with this winery. During these odd times of COVID, I am more reluctant to go out wine tasting, but Brooks has done a very nice job making sure their customers are safe. An appointment is necessary now, but that is easily done on their website. Once there, our table was very far from any other customers, and the staff are wearing masks and wiping down everything. The food we ordered was very good, as was the wines that were suggested as pairings. We felt that they are taking safety very seriously, and really enjoyed our time there. Looking forward to returning soon!

First off, I've been to Brooks before and had a great time. All I want or need is good service, talk to me about the wine, and even if the wine isn't my favorite I will at least walk away having learned something. Secondly, I'm in the industry, and this matters. I carry Brooks wine and have enthusiastically recommended the wines. I'm passionate about riesling and think what Brooks as done is great. I can -- and often do -- talk about wine all day. I like to learn about vinification, the story of the place, the vintages and how to really get people to appreciate the wine. I like learning about the vineyards and the farming techniques. I love wine, and a good experience at a winery will get me to put the wines on my shelves. But the entire experience was uncomfortable. Four people were behind the bar doing nothing and none engaged us. I had to ask to see the bottle to get more information on the wines poured. The tasting room wasn't busy. There were a couple tables that seemed to be doing OK and weren't asking a lot of the servers. So, what's up with the service? Seriously, I am considering replacing the Brooks wines I carry. I really like the wines, but I don't want to reward terrible service. We're all in the service industry together, but you have to watch who you treat so badly. It can have ripple effect. I will not recommend visits and probably won't return.

This tasting room is located on a hillside with the most amazing view of the Willamette Valley. The wine is wonderful and the food equally as good as the view. I wouldn't hesitate to try this establishment out! Sit back, relax, and enjoy wine with a view!

Absurd waiting list for members to taste! Cancelled membership. Other wineries have members only priority and sections. Wine is not that great to wait too many other better managed wineries with better wines and values. Plus awful gravel road with big potholes!
