What a great place for a relaxing evening! $6.00 movie tickets & very nice selection of movie treats..great popcorn. This is a nice place for date night! Just like the old time movie theatre & neat memorabilia in the lobby. Great relaxing atmosphere at nice prices! A fun evening!

Great place to see a movie, fantastic pricing both entry and concession. Comfortable seating, big screen, a classic theatre experience.

Great atmosphere with table games before the movie, food and drinks brought to your seat in the theatre. Very friendly staff, reasonably priced tickets, and a mint as you leave the theatre! Small town, homey feeling!

I dropped in on a Friday night showing of “Ready Player One” to experience this old times single-screen theater. It’s an interesting and quirky design - I walked in to the concession area and chose a pint of a draft quality local craft beer and then headed down the hall and over to the theater. Basically it’s a step back into the 30s. They do a great job here - I’ll happily support this local business again.

We always love going to movies at the PIX. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is top notch. Times are posted on their web-page and Facebook. They always have the movies we want to see, just after the leave the big name theaters, at a fraction of the price! Plus beer and food! I would recommend the quesadilla as a light meal. But the frozen bananas are a must!

My husband and I love to go to the Pix to watch movies. Restored beautifully....so comfortable old quality seats. The best popcorn around with other good foods, handmade truffles, lattes, beer and wine and someone waiting at the end of the movie to hand out mints. Really a wonderful experience....you can even hear the movie while in the restroom and not miss a thing. Gracious hosts....

Wife and I love this place for taking in a movie. Quaint with large sofas and tables and chairs in back for viewing and eating. Usually priced lower than other theaters and they try hard to bring in current and most recent releases. Great owners and staff there to make your stay enjoyable!

This beautiful theater is one of Albany's best kept secrets! Lovey theater, serving good food, wine and local beer to enhance your viewing experience. Never crowded, and always showing first run movies, albeit a bit later than the mainstream theaters in town. But who cares? This is a lovely place that is within walking distance from some very good restaurants (and our home) in the Monteith district of Albany, Oregon.

Watching a good movie on a TV is like drinking a good wine from a paper cup: better than nothing.

Watching a good movie in a commercial theater is like drinking a good wine from a clunky, but adequate wine glass; good enough.

Watching a good movie in a theater like Albany's Pix is like drinking a good wine from the perfect glass; an experience.

From the meet and greet, the warm welcome at the front door by owners and/or a staff that enjoys what they do to the food, AND WINE, all the way in to the historic building and the comfy seating - The Pix is an experience and, like the right wine glass, will elevate ANY movie the Pix shows (and they only show the very best).

I'd give 10 stars if I could!!

Just like it used to be... Comfortable, family owned/run single screen movie theater. Shows films at the end of their 'first run' status. Comfy seating, beer/wine for those who can, better than average snack/food selection - all this for not a premium price! I love the Pix.
