We were on our way back from Texas and had some extra time. We picked up our oldest son from Springfield Mo. When we got there, Mrs Starbird was at the counter. We visited with her for a while and she was very pleasant. As I was walking around admiring the cars, my wife came up to me and told me he was here. When I asked who, She said him. Mr Starbird had stopped in to talk to his wife about his doctor visit. I got to talk with him for about 45 minutes. I grew up building models of some of the cars on display. Mr Starbird signed his book for me. He is very down to earth and easy going. Needless to say, I had a fantastic time seeing the cars and getting to meet him in person. Thank you Mr and Mrs Starbird. We were there in July of 2019.

Darryl Starbird was and is a visionary. To make vehicles out of many car as he saw or designed it was amazing. He has a beautiful museum with many special designs for you to study and observe.

We stopped in about a half hour before closing, and the lady working the desk was very rude. She pretty much told us to leave because they were closing soon. I would not recommend this place.

This is another Hidden Gem, sitting back from road. Once you enter WOW, amazing custom cars. Darryl Starbird developed the Bubble tops and is innovative in designing and building cars. Many other cars by other designers there. We are not car enthusiasts but we drive and were unaware of Talented and Creative custom builders are. Awesome designs to take the originals then Customize. Mrs Starbird hostess there told us about the Annual Custom car show in Tulsa each Year. Highly recommend stopping here.
