This is a small, well kept public park with a view to Lake Erie. Never crowded, you can feel like you are alone. Definitely do not swim here however, as currents are variable here and there are signs to not go swimming.

We come here fairly often. On hot summer days, walking out on the pier will reward you with a brisk cool breeze off the lake. Watching the sunset from the pier is always recommended. The park has asphalt pavement for easy access for wheelchairs, with a gentle slope to the pier. That park has eight (if I counted correctly) built-in... More

Sandy beach with clean water! Great fishing pier and public boat launch. Swimming is fine in areas noted as safe. There is an area to the far East that swimming is Prohibited as there are dangerous currents. Previous reviews have noted this but in error reported the whole beach is unsafe....this is not true. A large portion of the beach is... More

A girlfriend and I stopped by here yesterday for the first time. Nicely maintained and pretty. We were hoping for a path along the lake but no such luck. This seems like it would be a great place for locals to take young kids. Small beach attracted swimmers even though the sign warned of dangerous swimming conditions -- waves were... More

If you visit, DO NOT SWIM HERE!! Repeated: DO NOT SWIM HERE. There's a deadly rip current from the power plant that causes many to drown. There's so many drownings here, this beach should be closed. It's not a normal Lake Erie beach. The power plant shoots water into the lake that causes a current that kills many. Add a... More

Not much of a beach, but a great place to sit on the pier and watch the boats coming in and out. Great playground for the kids, some pretty decent walking trails. So far it hasn't been that crowded. Great place to see a sunset over the lake

Thia is a small but beautiful lakefront park. Niced walking path, summer concerts in the park, and a wildflower garden next to the historic Peter Miller house. Another revieed advised against swimming here, The beach is not garded but it is a lovely area to swim when the beach is open. The NRG power plant is immediately to the east... More

This is a beautiful place for an evening stroll or bike ride. Walk the pier, the paths and the shade garden. Don't swim here people drown here, but enjoy the views.
