Beautiful early morning bridge especially in autumn. Very quiet. Look for the totem pole, I missed it the first time I saw that bridge

Just a neat old bridge to drive over, the road in is really cool drive also. Best to see in all seasons to get the full effect. Plan on getting out and look around and you will be amazed how quiet it is

Covered bridge excursion
Oct 2017 • Couples
We were able to visit all the covered bridges in the area. While at Olin's a gentleman (who it turns out is part of the Olin family, that's pretty cool) offered maps of the area and let us know that the covered bridge museum just across the bridge happened to be open this day. A quaint little collection of covered bridge nostalgia, not big, not fancy but very glad we took the time to visit.

Weekend trip

Just out doing our own tour before the festival weekend. Nice view from the bridge. Not much room for parking but still worth the view.

Very photogenic site...
Sep 2017 • Family
One of 17 covered bridges in the county, this one is smaller than some others, but lent itself very well to family photography sessions, from either end, with the trees starting to change color for fall...

A delightful Covered Bridge
Mar 2017 • Couples
I liked this Covered Bridge. It was rustic and quaint. A plaque indicated it was built in 1873 and was renovated at 1992-1993. It is 115 feet long.

It has 8 windows, giving lots of light.

What I liked the most was a dirt road that led to the river. We were able to see this covered bridge in all its glory. It is truly beautiful!

Some of the river was frozen, where water was flowing a bit more rapidly it was flowing perfectly. On the other side, we saw some frozen tiny waterfalls. Still attractive!

I love finding covered bridges, they brightened my day. This one is quite worthwhile!

Lots of bridges in Ashtabula county
Jul 2016 • Couples
This is another of several in the county... all but a couple with the the effort. A map provided by the tourism people makes finding them a cinch. A good way to spend an afternoon.

Bridge tour
Oct 2015
This is one of the covered bridges on the Ashtabula bridge tour. I lead a group of riders every fall and we take this tour every fall on our motorcycles.
Olin's Bridge, or Olin Bridge, or Olin-Dewey Road Bridge is a covered bridge that carries Dewey Road over the Ashtabula River in Plymouth Township, Ashtabula County, Ohio, United States. The bridge, one of currently 16 drivable bridges in the county, is a single span Town truss design, and is currently the only bridge in the county named for a family. The Olin family has owned property next to the bridge since it was built. Members of the Olin family also operate a small museum and gift shop just east of the bridge
1873 – Bridge constructed
1985 – Bridge renovated

Cute Stop on the Covered Bridge Tour

Quaint little bridge on the tour. Hear there's a gift shop/museum east of the bridge, but haven't been through in a while to check it out.

Another bridge in Astabula
Sep 2015 • Couples
One of the many bridges in Ashtabula area. Not a lot going on(actually nothing!) in this area, but if you are into bridges, this is another check mark on the seen the bridge tour.
